BARE WIRES. Cheap Perfume (Southpaw) 14.50 EUR. BARE WIRES patent their own brand of electrified garage punk, fusing glam glitter pop with garage punk grime, producing a sound that has been called everything from "Soft Punk" to "Leather Jacket Rock". The Oakland-based trio started in 2007 as a side project of MATTHEW MELTON with the release of a crude garage punk single entitled "Voodoo Doll," released on European label Solid Sex Love Doll. Adding his own analog recording system into the mix in search of a rawer sound, Melton continued to record under the name Bare Wires, releasing the Artificial Clouds LP on Tic Tac Totally in 2009. With solid mid-fi production and a minimalist aesthetic, Artificial Cloudsdisposed the jagged, proto-punk edges of the previous recordings and moved towards a smoother, hook-laden, but no less scrappy sound. Bare Wires new "smooth punk" aesthetic was expressed on the “Let Down” 7" (Milk n Herpes), a dirty, sleazy pair of fuzz-doused songs with guitars ripping through a crunching amplifier on a hazy cloud of smoke. With their latest album, Cheap Perfume, Melton delivers ten stadium-ready tracks of glam-infused, rock n' roll gems, still remaining true to the sincerity and authenticity that has become his songwriting trademark. EYES. Taqn (Artifix) 10.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! This 10-inch compiles all of Los Angeles punk pioneers THE EYES’ Dangerhouse studio recordings from 1979. Of the six songs on this 10-inch, two have NEVER been released before. First 500 copies on clear vinyl with a four-page insert.

JETBONE. S/T (Ghost Highway Recordings/Killed By Records/Record Heaven) 11.00 EUR. Jetbone is a Rock & Roll band from Punksvall,Sweden. The band has existed since 2008 Melting down their special brew of Power Pop, Blues & Boogie. Jetbone is an explosive load of straight forward Rock & Roll! The members of the band have known each other since their were kids, growing up together Playing soccer and hockey among other things. During their high shcool years they merged together with a Mutual intrest in good music. By mixing their different influences they developed their own style of Rock & Roll. Deriving their sound mainly from1970´s hard rock and rock bands such as Kiss,The Faces and The Rolling Stones. They´re also influenced by the likes of Jackson Browne and you´ll also definitely hear some echoes of the 90´s Garage/Punk wave. Raunchy hard hitting guitars, wild drums, a screaming organ and a punchy bass all topped with punky "spit it out" vocals are some of the ingredients of their of their clean-cut new rocking tunes. 300 copies, black vinyl.

LOW RED CENTER. S/T (S-S Records) 12.50 EUR. S.S. Records is really happy to release vinyl debut of Low Red Center. While their sound centers around electronics, to call them a minimal synth band or electronica or post-punk is selling them short. Low Red Center not only have a great sound, but they have great songs, and a couple of ace singers. Originally a studio project, in 2004 Low Red Center morphed into an improvised group. Containing members of Voxtrot, Oblong Boys, Pataphysics, Spoon, NonoBangBang, and other Austin bands, LRC staged shows that involved heavy costuming, theater, dance, and, of course, music. Eventually, many of these improvised pieces were molded into songs. In the words of Chad A., “The object of Low Red Center is an exercise in improvisation and communication. Surprising ourselves as musicians by experimenting and discovering on stage, in front of an audience is of our goals. Restraint and listening are our approach to playing. A dedication to succinct presentation prevents unwanted jamming and convinces the audience that what we are performing are practiced, pre-written songs. The sound we have in mind is minimal and somewhat alien, with a vague film noir feel. This tension is frequently broken with a faster, more jagged post-punk approach…. The recordings present a studio translation of our live principals, but with the luxuries of production embellishment and craft. Everything was performed (no sequencing) on analog electronic synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and electric guitar and bass. All the drum machines were actual individual organisms, breathing with us in the studio--nothing was sampled and rearranged. No computers were used.” Influenced by Cluster, John Foxx, Tuxedomoon, Bruce Haack, Crash Course in Science, Silver Apples, Raymond Scott, and Goblin, you can also hear Relando & the Loaf, Devo, the Plastics and others in their sound. insert. PUDÖR CRONICA. S/T (Ripper Records/Crack Records) 11.00 EUR. Pudör Crònica es el grupo paralelo a Rippers. Rebajados a trio, el sonido de los Pudör es el de unos Rippers más primitivos y que cantan en su lengua. El otro rasgo definitorio es que las canciones seleccionadas para Pudör Crònica no tienen alma, contrariamente a las de Rippers. El grupo sacó un 7” más que agotado hace unos años (“Pudör Crònica/ Vull ser el teu gos” Ripper Recs. 2002) con otra formación (la de los Rippers de ese momento), pero no es hasta ahora que se constituye cómo banda real y separada de su grupo paterno, ofreciendo las primeras actuaciones en directo recientemente.
Éste disco está formado por cinco canciones propias y dos versiones (“Accident” de Electric Eels y “Jesus” de Feederz) con letra adaptada, y es un lanzamiento conjunto de Crack Records y Ripper Records, editado únicamente en vinilo de 10” de edición limitada. Fue grabado por el también bajista David en el ocaso de 2010 en Antrö, en los subsuelos de l´Arboç. Edición limitada de 275 copias.

RED MASS/STRANGE ATTRACTORS. Split 10” (P.Trash) 11.50 EUR. A record that has more colors than a Disney movie on LSD and is crazier than the whole Muppet Show running out of Ritalin. Yes, Ladies and Gents, it's the P. Trash premiere of the nice and handy 10inch format with a bunch of manic and fabulous tunes on either side.
Starting with STRANGE ATTRACTOR (spinning on 45 rpm) you get some short and snotty blasts of melodic Punk songs by Jeff, drummer of the STATUES. He makes more noise with his warehouse guitar than an entire Bluespunk orchestra and recorded this tasty collection in his basement all by himself with a little help from Ian of the SEDATIVES on Vox organ. His version of Germany's first Punk band BIG BALLS AND THE GREAT WHITE IDIOT ''Kick her in the dirt'' will kick you in the balls, no matter how big or dirty!
More sonic madness awaits with RED MASS on the 33 rpm side. It's Choyce from CPC GANGBANGS and LES SEXAREENOS beating this meat and his cheap guitar in ''Stains'', doing a handclapping good job in a run-down version of NERVOUS EATERS' ''You've heard this chords before'' before closing with the bebopping ''Charlie Brown'', bringing out the Muppets again.

THE SCREAMING TARGETS. S/T (Ghost Highway Recordings) 10.00 EUR. The Screamin' Targets es un grupo de power pop-rock´n´roll formado a mediados de 2010 por Arturo Ibañez (NCC) a la guitarra, Arturo Zumalable (NCC) a la batería, Beñat Bergara (Lili and the Tomboys) al bajo, y Gigi Peligro (ex-Supertrooper) a la voz y a la guitarra.
La banda comienza su andadura por los escenarios este año aunque ya empezó a fraguarse tiempo atrás en el momento en que Arturo Ibañez y Gigi Peligro comienzan a componer temas añorando el sabor más clásico del rock´n´roll y el power pop heredero de grupos como los Flaming Groovies, Plimsouls, Nerves, Buel Angel, Rockpile.... Tras la llegada de Arturo Z. y Beñat, Screamin' Targets toma forma definitivamente y se lanza a la carretera con su directo pub rock 100% bailable y sin compromisos.
Tras una primera maqueta en formato cassette, el vinilo llega por fin a la banda. Screamin' Targets lanza su primer vinilo el 23 de septiembre de 2011 con Ghost Highway Recordings: Un 10" compuesto por 8 pildorazos de rock'n'roll con corazón de power pop.
