SINGLES (A-G)

86 MENTALITY. Final Exit (Deranged) 4.50 EUR. DC’s Terror Boys are BACK with their third slab of wax since their start in 2003! Both their earlier 7”s on GRAVE MISTAKE Records are absolute shredders and this new 7” entitled ‘Final Exit’ follows in the same vein of Oi inspired hardcore. These six new tracks are full of crushing power that won’t let down fans of tough early American hclike Negative Approach and S.O.A and early BLITZ.

AC4. I´ll Survive (P.Trash) 6.00 EUR. This ain't no bluff package, Punk. It says ''Umea Hardcore'' on the cover and what you see is what you get. Fresh out of the high-quality Hardcore manifacture of the city of Umea, the place that brought you classic bands like REFUSED or the REGULATIONS, comes the direct-to-use new act AC 4 with grand seniore Dennis on the mic and other REFUSED and VECTORS & REGULATIONS honchos with a formula that never goes out of style.
No artificial colourings or additives, just the best and most natural ingredients were used for this six new songs that do not take too much preparation time, either. Just slip it carefully out of the classy old-school wrapping (genuine design since the early '80s), apply gently on your playing device and let it roll. Keep an eye and both ears on the fast and crunchy ''I'll survive'', ''No more warning'' and ''Dead inside'', let the Greg Ginnish guitars and the spicy MINOR THREAT flavour slowly dissolve before flipping over for a couple more crispy minutes of ''Useless alibi'', ''Poison in my veins'' and ''Enough is enough''.
By then, you should already have that tasty smell of the old days filling every inch of your stinky place. Best enjoyed with friends to pogo and sing along. Yummy stuff!

ACID REFLUX. EP (No Way) 4.50 EUR. Yet another hardcore killer from NO WAY RECORDS! Sick of those bands that are way too serious these days? Well, here you go. ACID REFLUX bring the FUN back to Hardcore Punk. Completely Sarcastic and funny lyrics belted out over some intense hardcore punk is what you get here. This ep contains selected tracks from their unbelievable demo. However, they are remastered, resequenced, and it's on VINYL! 8 songs in 8 minutes, need we say more?

ADAM WEST. Live EP (Ghost Highway Recordings) 8.00 EUR. Side A: "Yr. Days Are Numbered, Motherfuker" and “Have Your Way With Me". Side B: "Neat Neat Neat" (The Damned). Limited edition of 250 copies.

A.H. KRAKEN. S/T (Sweet Rot) 5.50 EUR. Second release from French miscreants A.H. KRAKEN following their absolutely devastating debut LP on In the Red. Continuing with the trend from the LP, this two song single is loud, brutal, and punishing, featuring disturbing French lyrics about swamps and porn stars. One of the premier noise making bands of today, and just in time for their first U.S. tour. The band will also be playing the Sonic Protest festival in Paris in December. 500 copies.

ALEX CUERVO. Two Broken Fingers (Trouble In Mind) 5.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! A brand new 7-inch EP from ALEX CUERVO (HEX DISPENSERS, BLACKTOP, THIS DAMN TOWN). Features the tunes “Two Broken Fingers,” “Everybody Disappear,” “Hand Of Glory,” And “Hypersleep.”

AMBER ALERTS. Antibodies (Sweet Rot) 5.50 EUR. After a split with Wizzard Sleeve and an impressive single of their own, Montgomery, Alabama’s AMBER ALERTS really raise the bar with their new Sweet Rot 7-inch. “Antibodies” is a killer drugged-out guitar/synth jam. “Brain Scratch” is pure punk filth. “Somewhere Under the Shit Cloud” takes a repetitive bass riff and drills it into the fucking ground. These songs remind one of a dirty, Southern, teenaged version of the Primitive Calculators and for that one is thankful. Art by CM RUIZ. Black vinyl.

AMSTERDAMNED. S/T (Gummopunx) 5.00 EUR. AMSTERDAMNED were an 80s Dutch punk band who's only vinyl output was on the legendary "Als Je Haar Maar Goed Zit" compilation lps (I am still looking for #1 btw, help me out!!). This ep contains tracks from those two compilations as well as 3 songs that were previously unreleased on vinyl! Two are taken from an 80s demo tape, one is a killer soundboard recording of a gig done back in the day. Killer.

ARSON. Coho Coho b/w Livin' With the White Folks (Ugly Pop) 6.00 EUR. ARSON was Toronto's first punk rock supergroup, formed by members of the VILETONES, THE UGLY and THE POLES to deliver raw, tough punk rock as other parts of the early scene veered off to power pop or new wave. Self-released in 1979 and never repressed, this excellent 45 has long been a fave of world-wide collectors, but is just now once again available for the rest of us. Topside's a great fast-paced punker with wild guitar action, backed with a slow-burning creepycrawl monster that compliments it beautifully. Limited one-time repress with faithfully reproduced packaging and new insert!

ASPIRINA INFANTIL. S/T (Metadona Records) 4.50 EUR. Review From MRR #342: Rapid Punk/HC with nice hooks, quick changes and to the point by keeping all the songs slightly over the minute mark. The vocals compliment the music nicely and this band has done a good job on their first release. The winner on this EP is “Divide y Venceras” which brings later FREZZE to mind, cool. (MS)

ATAQUE FRONTAL. S/T (Burrito) 5.50 EUR. A mega-blast of raw Peruvian hardcore from 1988, and one of the first Peruvian hardcore records ever made. Officially reissued by Burrito Records, the record sounds like Olho Seco, S.O.A, and early D.R.I all rolled into one. Includes a bonus track not on the original release, and improved packaging. Fans of South American hardcore have been screaming for this reissue for years.
Review of the original record from MRR#60 (May 1988): Out of Peru and this HC “hace caliente”! Totally ripping, good production, and a non-stop buzzsaw attack. Get this inmediately.

ATOM NOTES. S/T (Combat Rock Industries) 4.50 EUR. Rising from the ashes of two of Finland's hardest working and internationally acclaimed independent punk/hardcore bands Endstand and Manifesto Jukebox, Atom Notes can hardly be called a "new" band in the traditional meaning of the word. Heading further into the direction that Manifesto Jukebox took with their last releases, Atom Notes incorporate more rock'n'roll swagger in their Wipers/Hot Snakes/Rftc inspired dark punk rock assault - and aiming for maximum sonic assault, Atom Notes' line-up features 3 guitars!

ATOMIC BRAINS. Chains (Blahhh!!) 5.00 EUR. El mítico sello que puso en la calle el “Get Out Of Our Way” de los REATARDS vuelve de nuevo. Los ATOMIC BRAINS no son tan trash. Rock and Roll del bueno.

ATOMS. S/T (P.Trash) 5.00 EUR. Originally, this disc by San Diego's stripe-wearing New Wave squad ATOMS was launched by Sweet Tooth Records 2007, went faster than lightning and disappeared in the endless depths of collector space. Now, everybody familiar with P.Trash knows that we are a Trashcue Team and we will never let anybody in this garagey world down. That's why we rerelease these three superb sizzlers once again. Except some gravity-defying, synthie-supported New-Wave Punk with some cheeky brat vocals and lots of melodies and drive somewhere between SPIZZ ENERGY, THE EPOXIES, DEVO, THE SPITS and SERVOTRON. The perfect sound for a sunday ride in the orbit.

AUDACITY. Vape Victim (Goodbye Boozy) 5.50 EUR. From Fullerton, CA!! Known for their youthful exuberance and exuberant youthfulness, beloved in Milwaukee, ignored in Olympia, infamous in St Augustine, disrespected in LA; the audacity is the best band in the world and has been for nine years now (!!!mad seniority) We play sometimes with Todd C, who was in Baghdad before you were in your dad's bag. Limited to 300 copies.

AUTODRAMATICS. Find The Gun (Goodbye Boozy) 5.00 EUR. Raw Punk Blues from Iowa, new project by Andrew Caffrey THE HORRORS U.S. band! Limited 300 press black vinyl!

A/V MURDER. S/T (Dusty Medical) 5.50 EUR. Features Jim Hollywood of Baseball Furies/Tyrades/White Savage. Not unlike any of those bands. Great single.

BAD BRAINS. 171 A Sessions (Cleopatra Cafe) 7.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! Incredible issue of four previously unreleased Bad Brains tracks! According to the liner notes, three of these songs (Black Dots/Send You No Flowers/Redbone In The City) were recorded for a compilation that was never released, circa '81-82, and the fourth song is an unreleased reggae jam. Excellent sound quality, allegedly taken from original master tapes.

BAD SPORTS. Red Overlay (Total BS) 5.00 EUR. First release on Nashville label Total BS Records featuring two killer sides of rock from Texas' own BAD SPORTS. Gent Bent says: "Opening with 'Red Overlay", the guitar riffs have you snapping your fingers to the beat, then comes the toe tapping a few seconds later, followed by the head bopping, and alternating your shoulders up and down. And the B side: 'Stuff.’ Well it's about stuff, it's a tour around a dump of an apartment, where records outside of their sleeves (blasphemy!), scratched DVDs, crumpled laundry, and last week's trash all simmer side by side. You hear a plethora of musical influences: ‘80s punk, new wave, and of course some down home good rock and roll. There's catchy background ‘ooooo's’, in your face vocals, and guitar riffs that pair harmoniously with the drums, everyone stops playing just at the right moment, then the vocals wrangle everyone back up again. Bad Sports are dudes not to be reckoned with. You want fierce rock and roll? You want riffs that wax and wane at just the right times? You want snarly attitudes? You want rapid paced beats? You want loud in your-face-ness? Then these are your dudes."

BARE WIRES. Don’t Ever Change (Robot Elephant Records) 5.00 EUR. This is a single from Oakland / CA based Bare Wires, who got their very own style of glam-infused garage rock! A bit cheesy? Maybe. Totally cheeky, with driving beat? Definitely! These guys are live a blast, and seeing them playing in the Eagle Tavern in San Francisco was hilarious, seeing that John Dwyer, who is a fan of the band, was getting on stage in order to fix the drum kit, which was slowly disassembling itself, whilst the band was making no glimpse and kept on playing their song.

BEAR PROOF SUIT. Science Is Dead (Criminal IQ) 5.00 EUR. Review From Terminal Boredom E-Zine: Four songs of gruff Midwest hardcore out of Wisconsin. Loud, proud, and burly, yet focused, pushing and shoving with a great guitar sound. Three quality originals that sound distinctly Mid-American in a classic way. Not Europeans doing LA '83 or Americans doing Jap-influenced stuff or Japanese doing Finnish or UK influenced HC. I guess that's what I like about this the most; it stays true to it's roots, and sounds honest and authentic. No fake moves here. Midwest dudes doing what a Midwest HC band should sound like, this is much better than I expected it to be. I think Wipers' covers are always ill-advised ("Up Front"), but the three originals are definite ragers.

BEEZ. Easy (1977 Records) 9.00 EUR. The latest official re-issue on the japanese '1977' record label. This brilliant debut release originally came out on the bands own 'edible' label in 1979 in a pressing size of only 500 copies. Since then, it has been on every collectors wants list!!! Do you self a favour and save trying to find an original as this little beauty is identical to the £300+ genuine artefact! Ltd 300 copies! Side A: Easy – Side B: The Vagrant.

BENEDICT ARNOLD AND THE TRAITORS. Kill The Hostages (Artifix) 5.00 EUR. A reissue of the 1981 debut single from this band led by Rock Against Racism activist and one-time Yippie STEPHEN STINK. Combining a love of politics with punk rock, Stink and company deliver a controversial and revved up punk classic. Two tracks "Kill The Hostages" and "Red Alert." Packaged with the original artwork and includes a band history and vintage photos. Originally released on the band's own Putrid label.

BIRTH CONTROL. Going To Target (Fashionable Idiots) 5.00 EUR. Finally, the vinyl debut of Philly burners, Birth Control. This platter contains four blasts of twisted and demented punk that only these four losers could come up with together.

BIRTHDAY SUITS. Europe Tour 7" (P.Trash) 5.50 EUR. Fresh out of the grinder comes the distorted and stirring sound of this unhinged Minneapolis duo shredding a good slab of sappy Lo-Fi TEENGENERATE Punkrock with a heavy pound of dodgy SHELLAC noise to a half and half mash of madness and passion with enough catchyness and Albini-treated guitars that may cause epilepsy and the munchies.
You already heard them on the split 7" with MARKED MEN and now you can see Matthew and Hideo (formerly chopping the meat in SWEET J.A.P.) on European stages everywhere. To celebrate this feast, here's ''Kids Fire - Run Fire'' and ''Flower'' as a delicious European-Tour 7'' best to be enjoyed with some smoky sauce and a sixer of beer and the lovely suit you wore on the day of your birth.

BLACK BUG. Life Is A Whore (Boom Chick) 5.50 EUR. Distorted vocals and harsh synth make for quite the racket! This reminds most of all of the Factums 7" that Pollymaggoo put out. The Americans have got Blank Dogs and the Factums. It's only fair that Europeans get at least the Black Bug.

BLACK JASPER. Born In ’77 (Slovenly) 4.50 EUR. THE BLACK JASPERS, featuring KING KHAN (THE KING KHAN & BBQ SHOW, SHRINES, etc.) and JASPER HOOD (MOORAT FINGERS), have blessed Slovenly Recordings with two fat lines of nose-bleed punk for a solid single of blown-out sickness! We'll boldly say that these two songs are even more brutal than the versions released on last year's self titled In The Red LP, as they were re-recorded in 2008 with increased fidelity and maximum beef. They even went so far as to add a third member, JOHN BOY ADONIS, on drums for this historic session! ‘Born in '77’ (an autobiographical ode to Killed By Death-isms), b/w ‘I Can't Stand The Summer’ both deliver a heaping key bump to the brain with enough racket to make your speakers crumble into a pile of powder, so don't even think about weaseling your way outta getting this one!

BLACK LEATHER JESUS. Diseased Translation (AG82 Records) 5.50 EUR. Two songs of speaker shattering harsh noise from Houston legend Richard Ramirez.

BLACK ROSE BAND. Hot Box (Contaminated) 5.50 EUR. Review From Terminal Boredom E-Zine: With Katrina scattering NOLA's inhabitants, BLACK ROSE BAND has become KING LOUIE's post-disaster outfit, with Kajun SS's members now spread across the South, THE PERSUADERS back on the shelf and KONDOR...well, I don't know what ever happened to KONDOR. Or the LOOSE DIAMONDS. But I'm getting off track here. BRB are Louie's band right now, with other NOLA citizens who've stuck around including the guitar player from THE DETONATIONS (another band shattered by hurricane forces). Two cuts here, "Hot Box" on the A (a rewrite from the 10-4 BACKDOOR days), perhaps the finest classic rock ode to high-school smoking since Mountain's heyday. The B-Side of "Hoochie Poochie" is a humorous tale of getting pulled over while touring and finding a creative place to hide the drugs (hint: you should always have a girl in the tour van). Both songs really have a hot and sweaty Southern rock vibe with a devil-may-care 'tude, and Louie really elevates the material to upper deck status. The inclusion of lyrics on the back sleeve is a definite bonus. A must have for any Harahan Fats fan. Scum stats: 500 on black vinyl.

BLACK TIME. Message From The Control Tower (Rehab) 6.00 EUR. Review From Z-Gun Zine: Okay, here’s another EP from these, well, OVERly prolific UK sonic creeps. I’ve stated in other forums that I just don’t get the hubbub over these cats. It’s like going to a sandwich/deli shop with a friend, getting your $7 sandwich and realizing that there’s about 2mm of fucking meat between those honey-baked buns. Hrumph. Then everyone else seemed to pile on the "wagon outta town" as well when their last full length received less-than-fulsome praise. So now I’ve got my spike and hammer handy and the coffin lid is off and that cross is glittering righteously at my throat, but…but…Lucy looks so lifelike. The first song, Human Pinball, has more riff ideas and execution than any of their last few EPs that I managed to cadge. Public Information Film and Working for the Man are both broody and snooty enough in their early post-punkistic take to make me do the lip-pursing-with-slight-head-nod move. Last song is a tosser. As long as Lucy keeps that healthy pallor, I’ll keep the stakes in reserve, I’m sure she’s turning over a new leaf!

BLACK TIME/HUSBANDS. Split 7” (Show And Tell) 5.00 EUR. Review From Terminal Boredom E-Zine: So maybe Midnight World wasn't the ass-kicking world-beating noir-spiked punk rock thrill-ride you were hoping for, but it wasn't exactly dog-shit that you accidentally stepped in on your way to Starbucks neither (you fucking yuppie you). Black Time had been running through those alleys at a hectic pace and maybe they needed to run into a wall (and break a hand or two). A little distance did them good and their side of this West Coast (you fucking hippies you) tour-only (not really though, I got this at a store) seven-incher reminds you why you fell in love with these post-Riot modsters in the first place. "Downtown" is a bouncy urban rant with the whiny voice of Limey Caution reverbin over some almost psych-key action. Nice. "ESP Medium" is an instro the way they used to make 'em, drillin the beat but still catchy. "Charm Offensive" alternates its trad-garage verses with fast punk choruses.
Husbands have always struck me as a novelty band, and their side doesn't dispel such thoughts. The Cramps-lite "Monster Party" was recorded live on WFMU which is.....fine. I don't think I need another cover of "I Idolize You," but if you do, well, here 'tis.

BLANK DOGS. Waiting (In The Red) 5.00 EUR. To coincide with the release of Blank Dogs' Under and Under double-LP, In The Red has issued this companion single featuring two exclusive tracks. "Waiting" finds the band drifting ever closer to C-86 Brit-pop terrain and incorporates more guitar than synth. Stereogum says, "It's like Joy Division vocal lines with The Cure's synth and guitar melodies filtered through ancient submerged keyboards and eroded recording equipment."

BLANK ITS. Windows Are Dirty (Sweet Rot) 5.00 EUR. The Blank Its are back. After their head turning first single, a cool split with the Feelers and their underrated debut LP on Empty, they have returned with a self-released single of their own, plus this, a two song, no nonsense slab of wax that in this humble listener’s opinion is their best record yet. “Windows Are Dirty” is everything an a-side should be Ð short, to the point, and ridiculously catchy Ð while the flip “Divorce” is about as epic as a three minute (weird) pop song can get, all played with that distinctive Blank Its sound (ie. brash guitars, insectoid vocals, off-kilter drums) and perfectly recorded. One time only pressing of 600 copies.

BLAZE X. Some Hope (Sing Sing) 6.00 EUR. BLAZE X formed in late 1975 in Tuam. They quickly learned to play and scored support slots for touring bands such as The Radiators, The Fuze, Tony Koklin and most famously U2 at Leisure Land in Galway on December 18, 1980. In November 1980 they entered RCF Studios in Galway and recorded their self-released single which sold well locally but didn't have much distribution apart from some mailorder sales. Only 500 copies pressed and it's a tough one to find these days. Most were sold locally and some were sent out as promos—one of which went to RTE DJ Larry Gogan, who made it his Hit-Pick of the week (though the B-side "Rippy" was banned). Despite this success, the band failed to get on TV and no more copies were pressed. They split in 1981 when they failed to achieve their ambitions.

BLOODSHOT BILL. Rockin' With... EP (Ghost Highway Recordings) 6.00 EUR. Side A: "Rockin' With Rosie" and "Tattle Tale". Side B: "Radioactive Flip Flop" and "Get It". Limited edition of 355 copies.

BOB. Things That You Do (Rerun Records) 6.50 EUR. Reissue of the brilliant, debut single from 1980 by San Francisco’s best vibraphone fueled Punk band. Comes in a heavy duty glue pocket sleeve with fold out insert featuring photos, liner notes and a new interview with members of the band. Pressing of 500 copies on black vinyl.

BOBBY & THE SOFT SPOTS. Can't Get Her Off (Rob's House) 5.50 EUR. BOBBY UBANGI (THE LIDS, GAYE BLADES) fronts this drunken mess of Atlantans called THE SOFT SPOTS (featuring members of Gaye Blades, SPOOKS, and BEAT BEAT BEAT). If you've heard any of Bobby's previous output you'll know he's a craftsman of the three-chord garage sing-alongs with some of the most poppy lyrics written, and these songs are all that with a bit more beer. Classic Ubangi! Regretably, Bobby has been diagnosed with some pretty nasty cancer. Rob’s House will donate all of their proceeds directly to Bobby to help with his medical bills. 1,000 copies pressed.

BODYSNATCHERS. S/T (540 Records) 5.00 EUR. A reissue of the self-titled debut 7-inch from Australia's BODYSNATCHERS, originally released in 1979 by Savage Music. Recorded the same day and in the same studio as YOUNG IDENTITIES. "Formed in early 1978, the band were a short lived studio based outfit. ROD  & GAVIN MCLEOD were members of two other local punk outfits THE YOUNG IDENTITIES and JUST URBAIN. When the opportunity arose for a cheap and nasty recording session, the 3 piece decided to fill in the last remaining time slot by cramming in 2 short sharp songs that didn't quite fit in with the sounds arising from the rest of the Brisbane music scene. Drawing on the likes of the Gang of Four, A side 'Frantic' was a re-write of a Just Urbain song while its flipside 'Mystery' is a sped up/hacked up cover of the Velvets 'Venus in Furs'. The record has a jarring sound with the vocals more whispered than yelped, while the vintage drum machine drone adds an additional spectral quality. Above and beyond that, it still has the trademark bass heavy, non production values much loved by the rest of the Savage Music family. Released as a 300 limited edition with photo copied cover in 1979, its sound stands as the odd, stumbling step-kid of the label and the band was never to be seen or heard of again. Frantic mystery indeed!"

BON. Stupid Question (Boppa Do Down) 5.50 EUR. This two-song single is the debut release from a new band formed by former members of the Tijuana Bibles, The Leather Uppers, Rise and The Exploders.
Side A's "Stupid Question" is a light-hearted garage rock attack on an unnamed "baby," who asks unnecessary questions like "Will you be true?" Singer/guitarist Craig Daniels suggests such queries are about as useful as a child's jokes. "What did the hippie say to the invisible man?" he asks. The answer: "You're outta sight."
The Bon are comparable to The Famines on that number, though they're a little tidier. Side B's "Ancient Times" is a closer in spirit to White Cowbell Oklahoma, minus a few guitars.
It's only six minutes of music, but it's a fun six minutes. Let's hope it's not long before these guys put out a more substantial release.

BOOMGATES. Layman’s Terms (Smart Guy) 5.50 EUR. They're at it again! BOOMGATES return with a second 7-inch that confirms what was suspected after last year's RIP Society-released gem—their debut was no fluke. The songs on the single pick up where the band left off treating the listener to two solid tracks of simple and unadorned indie-pop with nary a hint of pretension. Vocalist BRENDAN HUNTLEY has found his match in STEPH HUGHES and the two play off if each other beautifully on the the A and AA sides. In these two tracks you'll find a nice contrast with the “Layman's Terms” breezy pop being smartly offset by the brooding tension of “Nothing.” Yet another stellar outing from the Melbourne-based combo. Features members of EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING, THE TWERPS and DICK DRIVER. Edition of 500 copies.

BOOMGATES. Bright Idea (R.I.P. Society) 7.50 EUR. A brand new single from Australia’s BOOMGATES featuring BRENDAN HUNTLEY (aka BRENDAN SUPPRESSION OF EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING), TRIPLE J’s STEPHANIE HUGHES of DICK DIVER, RICK MOLOVANOVIC of THE TWERPS and a couple dudes named SHAUN and GUS. Two tracks.

BORN BAD. Moron Music (Fashionable Idiots) 4.50 EUR. Great follow up ep to their 1st one on FASHIONABLE IDIOTS. God, this band just rips. Not really your run of the mill 80's wanna be band. These guys are just fucking pissed and it shows all over the record. Has the awesome violent, angry Negative Approach/State/Poison Idea thing going on, but has originality coming out its ass, so it'll keep you totally interested. Really good record.

BORN LIARS. Don't Tell Me, I Know (Ditchwater) 4.50 EUR. Born Liars are master songwriters and superior performers. "Don't Tell Me" is a fine example of their raucous rock and roll output. And check out their ripping version of Stevie Wonder's "I Don't Know". First release for this label-cool b&w sleeve, numbered edition of 300, insert.

BORN BAD. S/T (Fashionable Idiots) 5.00 EUR. Debut ep from Winnipegs BORN BAD. Awesome violent hardcore for fans of NEGATIVE APPROACH, THE STATE and mean hardcore like that. 6 songs that'll leave you wanting more. Great!

BOYFRIENDS. Boyfriends (1977 Records) 8.50 EUR. Only a single released from their own label in 1982. Very pop and catchy song. 1977 Records owner, Nobu recommend this band to all pop lovers!

BRAD LONG. Love Me Again (Sing Sing) 6.00 EUR. In and out of unrecorded regional combos since the late 1960s, Logansport, IN music store owner BRAD LONG issued this, his lone single, on his own Music Stand label in the summer of 1977. Featuring a warm, lo-fi basement pop sound with stylistic roots firmly grounded in the mid 60s, both 'Come to Me' and 'Love me Again' evoke a hazy mood reminiscent of early Twilley. Also included with the release were a series of press releases, a section of which listed Long's heroes as Roger McGuinn, Paul Revere and the Raiders and Joe Meek. Greeted with positive reviews in the pages of (Ballroom) Blitz and NY Rocker, Long later contributed a cover of the Rolling Stone's 'Tell Me' to the first VOXX ' Battle of the Garages' compilation. (Collin Makamson).

BRAIN TUMORS. S/T (Fashionable Idiots) 5.00 EUR. Minneapolis's BRAIN TUMORS debut with a 7-incher featuring six cuts of repulsive touch-n-go hardcore punk. Bright and jangled guitars onset the menacing headache while deranged vocals and roaring low-ends leave most squirming with one foot in the grave. Enough stench, hair and pus for the whole family brought to you by these four mutants. Four color screened covers round out this incredible package. A split release with Pass Judgement Records.

THE BRAT. The Wolf (540 Records) 5.00 EUR. One-sided 7" featuring the Brat's compilation to a very rare compilation from 1983. A killer, classic punk track with big riffs and awesome female vox a la the Bags or other early west coast punk. Awesome stuff!

BRILLIANT COLORS. Highly Evolved (Captured Tracks) 5.50 EUR. Second single from this all-girl three-piece plays lo-fi indie pop in the vein of early Flying Nun bands like The Clean or The Chills, with a bit of late-'70s/early-'80s art-punk à la the RAINCOATS, KLEENEX or LILIPUT.

BROKEN JUGS. To Thame You (Goodbye Boozy) 5.50 EUR. From Montréal debut single for BROKEN JUGS is the projet of Martin Dupras( SCAT RAG BOOSTERS, ROYAL ROUTES, THEE B-SIDES ) and Jean-François ( THEE B-SIDES, BROKEN DOWN ENGINE) These are his new 4 songs SIXTIES - GARAGE - PSYCHEDELIC - BLUES In " Wilderness" song play farsifa organ Annie ( SEXSAREENOS , SUNDAY SINNERS) and " Love in Vein " song play slide guitar Jordan (MYSTERY GIRLS) Music for a Good Whiskeys Limited 300 press.

BUMMER. Covers EP (Ghost Highway Recordings) 7.00 EUR. Side A: "Don't Shake Me Lucifer" (Roky Erickson) and "Blood & Roses" (The Smithereens). Side B: "Don't Slander Me" (Roky Erickson) and "Fire Spirit" (Gun Club). Limited Edition of 400 copies. Cover by Mik Baro.

BURNING YELLOWS. Urinal Cakes (Horizontal Action) 5.00 EUR. Portland, OR has been home to quite a few great bands in recent years (and has ever since the 70s, as evidenced by the 10-29-79 compilation, and the Northwest Passage film), and we're beyond excited to offer the debut single from our first band from the area, the sublime and apparitional Burning Yellows. From the second the heartbeat metronome fades in on the first song, an atmospheric VU-rhythmic throb encapsulates your senses and lures you into their reverberated world, and vocalist Kyja's echo-saturated vocals wash over you like a chemical bath stripping away your metaphorical outer layer of dead skin. As the band evolved from its primordial state and into the live arena recently, look for Burning Yellows to continued to daze and mesmerize onlookers with their dreamy, fuzz-laden pop vibrations that will leave you glassy-eyed and converted within minutes. First 200 copies are Gold editions, wrapped in an elegant 'Oceanic Nightmare' alternate sleeve.

CANDY APPLE KILLINGS. Leather For Liquor (Solid Sex Lovie Doll) 6.00 EUR. Debut vinyl for this Miss Alex White’s side and obscure project along with the now Victim of Time cats featuring 2 freaky, lysergic and alcoholic creaking garage tunes of nocturne smoky bad feelings. 2 editions: NO MANE I ED. (282 copies) and NO NAME II ED. (227 copies). Numbered with red ink stamp. NOT FOR THE PURIST OF SOUND.

CAREER SUICIDE. Cherry Beach (Dirtnap) 5.50 EUR. A long time in the making, this 7-inch is the proper release of a UK/Northern Ireland tour-only single released by CAREER SUICIDE in 2008. Re-recorded versions of two of the three songs (Sadly, the Cuby and the Blizzards cover has been lost to the sands of time!) on the tour 7-inch appear here, along with two brand new scorchers heard for the first time. The cover art is brand new as well, featuring kick-ass cartoon inspired graphics from DAVE NEESON, as well as an 11”x17” double sided poster/insert and download coupon.

CAREER SUICIDE. SARS (Deranged) 5.50 EUR. A repress of the excellent second 7-inch from CAREER SUICIDE. Four tracks of snotty pissed hardcore punk that’ve been compared to Boston’s F.U.’s, the Angry Samoans, and early Dischord stuff. Features JONAH from FUCKED UP on guitar. Remastered with new packaging.

CARNIVORES. Prom Night (Double Phantom) 5.50 EUR. Atlanta’s CARNIVORES are geographically in the right place for smelting pop into lo-fi garage post-punk, though the indelible fingerprints of Georgia’s favorite sons only stretch so far. From the skittering drums, the resonant and insistent organ and the lazy surf-bum guitar figures, everything feels like it’s being dragged lovingly into an alternate era. Having spent time on stage with the likes of Best Coast, Black Lips, No Age and Abe Vigoda, their smeary, oblique twitches into echo canyon seem fairly natural. Certainly the New York Times, The Fadar and Pitchfork have allowed them to settle comfortably in various degrees of praise, as well as fans everywhere, from Surfer Blood to Jarvis Cocker. Their latest single “Prom Night” b/w “Second Impulse” merely confirms that all of these admirers are right to do so; sonically adventurous while never reneging on the promise of their personable and stinging melodic haze, Carnivores are the natural successors to the elemental garage-rock sound predators of the past decade.

CASE OF EMERGENCY. Final EP (Loud Fat Rules) 4.00 EUR. Review From MRR #297: Now why in the name of sweet Jehovah would such a freakin’ spectacular six-song slab of hardcore punk be limited to only 250 copies!? This Bay Area band’s first EP is hard enough to track down as it as, and now they gotta pull this crap on us? All of the tracks here are raw and distorted, and the lyrics (from what I can interpret without an insert) are wonderfully negative and spiteful. This is a killer and ugly hardcore in the vein of older shit like BAD POSTURE mixed with more recent noise like RABIES, WARKRIME, or FUNERAL SHOCK. With songs like “Sick”, “Social Suicide”, and “Abuse”, you get an idea where these cats are coming from! This is the soundtrack to being belligerently drunk and smashing your through a wall. Good luck finding this.

CATBURGLARS. You May Be Dumb, But I Don’t Care (Cowabunga) 5.50 EUR. Review From MRR #295: There’s dumb and there’s stupid. I can’t decide which these guys fall under. The plus of this band: singer has a Chavo Pederast voice down. The minus: songs are sometimes kind of plodding – if they had a snappy drummer, their hit points would double, although on the mid-tempo songs, he’s great. All in all, kind of dumb, kind of stupid, but pretty good shit. If you like THE ANGRY SAMOANS more than THE ZEROS, you’ll like this.

CATHOLIC BOYS. Fixed (Sweet Rot) 5.50 EUR. Four songs of schizoid punk from Milwaukee's best. Quite possibly their fastest and loudest record ever. From the same sessions as the two singles (one just released, one coming shortly) on Trick Knee Records. Sadly posthumous.

CATHOLIC BOYS. Dead Ball (Trick Knee) 5.50 EUR. Three faves from the aborted Second Album Sessions. Features the cuts “Dead Ball,” “Sick To Death,” and “7 & 7 Is.

LOS CAVERNICOLAS. Primer Grupo “Punk Infantil” (Munster) 5.00 EUR. A bunch of 14-year-olds making stupidly catchy punk. They dreamed of playing these previously unreleased songs from 1983 at the Madison Square Garden. Sadly, it never happened.
Una pandilla de adolescentes imberbes haciendo punk estúpidamente pegadizo. Soñaban con tocar estos temas inéditos de 1983 en el Madison Square Garden. Por desgracia, su sueño nunca llegó a cumplirse.
Side A: Quiero Esnifar Novopren; Tubérculo; La Modelo.
Side B: Soy Un Punki; Virkikis Sin Sexo; Superstición.

CELL 609. Factories / Re-pulsion (1977 Records) 9.00 EUR. Reissue of 1978 ULTRARARE Belgian Punk EP. This 45 needs no introduction! How many people has ever seen a copy of this one??? I think I can count them on one hand!. This 45 just never shows up. These bunch of punks from the French part of Belgium won the Belgian Punkcontest’ second night and made a 7” with the prizemoney. 300 copies where made, badly distibuted and most of the copies went to a secondhand shop in the late 80’s. These guys where not able to sell it (punk was totally not done here in the 80’s) and they trew everything away!!!! So only a few copies survived this wave of human madness wich made it one of the rarest (AND BEST!!!) punk 45 around the globe. This 45 is impossible to find in ANY condition.

CHEAP TIME. Another Time (Cass) 5.00 EUR. JEFF NOVAK and the boys strike back with their most straightforward, no frills punk rock they've ever done. The Aussie influence on these songs is undeniable and Novak's guitar tone is as close as possible to the Saints' "I'm Stranded" without having to pay Ed Kuepper royalties. If you like the idea of Cheap Time but feel they sometimes overdo it or put too many weird tangents in their songs, just buy this single and enjoy. Consider this your "no tangent" guarantee!

CHEAP TIME. Woodland Drive (In The Red) 5.00 EUR. Two brand new studio tracks from Nashville, TN's favorite pop-punk-glam-bubblegum band. Snotty, catchy ditties informed by Sparks, The Quick, Milk 'n' Cookies, and early Kinks that'll tide you over until this band unleashes their next full-length. The single comes in a handsome, Fontana-esque picture sleeve.

CHEMICALS. Don’t Cry For Me, I’m Already Gone (Sonic Jett) 5.00 EUR. The second killer 7” from Portland, OR’s The Chemicals. 4 more cuts of scorching KBD tunage (Including a Feederz Cover), green vinyl, Rip-Off Records style sleeve.

CHESTER VOMIT AND THE DRY HEAVES. Stunk Rocker (Rave Up) 5.00 EUR. Mr. Chester Voumette career started as drummer for numerous Chicago bands from 1978 to1981 (Popperz, The Martian Plan etc...). In January 1978, Chester armed himself with a Fender Duo Sonic II guitar and wraparound sunglasses, took front mic, and spit up these rustic demo recordings of Chester-penned tunes. What they lacked in production quality, they made up for in volume and intensity. With Chester’s busy drumming schedule, public performances of Chester Vomit and The Dry Heaves were limited, but legendary. Hurling lyrics through his trademark sneer, a clothespin affixed to his cheek (Chester’s aversion to needles ruled out body piercing), his guitar slung low between his legs, Chester retched out nonstop breakneck rockers. When fans and the media asked what he called his brand of music, the label-hating Chester’s standard reply was, “We play Stunk Rock.”

CHIN CHIN. Don’t Wanna Be Prisoners (Mississippi) 5.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! ”From Biel Switzerland, comes this little known group. One of the few all-girl bands (along with Kleenex/Lilliput) to come out of the early 80's Swiss punk scene. Chin Chin definitely considered themselves a punk band. Although their catchy pop vocals and harmonies strongly aligned them with the burgeoning C86 scene. They shared bills with The Shop Assistants, Television Personalities, The Pogues and New Model Army, before the band drifted into obscurity. This 7" was originally released in 1984 on the band's own, Farmer Records. It contains 3 self-penned songs and marks their first and punkest release. Keep your eyes peeled for their full length LP out soon as a split between the Mississippi and Slumberland labels.”

CHRISTMAS ISLAND. S/T (Captured Tracks) 5.50 EUR. A two-song 7-inch about the pits and perils of ages Nineteen and Twenty-Nine, respectively. Part Flying Nun, part bubblegum, CHRISTMAS ISLAND does it right. Recent full-length on In The Red.

CHROME SPIDERS. Black Butterfly (Big Neck) 5.00 EUR. THE CHROME SPIDERS are the new band fronted by Michigan's most beloved T. JACKSON POTTER, better known as TOM POTTER from THE DIRTBOMBS, BANTAM ROOSTER, DETROIT CITY COUNCIL and the SEGER LIBERATION ARMY. Tom has been under the radar for the last couple of years writing screenplays, his energetic presence in Midwest music is sorely lacking and just the thought of a new band from Tom gets everyone in a good mood. Recruiting a couple members of THE BITTERS and THE MENTHOLS, Chrome Spiders are surely set to blow up right on this new 7-inch. Black Butterfly is a prelude to the Chrome Spiders upcoming 12-inch platter, set to be released on Big Neck Records at the end of summer.

CHRONIC SEIZURE. Live On WHPK (Fashionable Idiots) 4.50 EUR. Chicago's best offers up nine of their best cuts from a recent radio show. Top of the crop midwest hardcore played like no other. Limited to a one-time pressing of 500 copies.

CHRONIC SICK. S/T (a.k.a. Reagan Bands) (No Way Records) 5.50 EUR. Finally reissued legitimately/band authorized after 27 years. Great NJHC from 1983. The original of the hc/kbd classic on MUTHA RECORDS goes for up to 500.00 on ebay so jump on this now to get it at a reasonable price. 3 songs of catchy, snotty reagan era hardcore the way it was meant to be. Short, fast, and loud. The front cover art to this record is a dead give away- you need this! Restored and Remastered by Dave Eck at Lucky Lacquers, and what a great job he did on this. We tried hard to keep the look and sound as close to the original as we could.

CIRCLE PIT. Sewercide (Sweet Rot/RIP Society) 5.50 EUR. Austrailia’s newest fave scuzzters return with a brand new single. You get the cut “Sewercide,” backed with “Roll With The Punches.” The band just completed a US tour in support of their Bruise Constellation album on Siltbreeze. A split release between Canada’s Sweet Rot and Australia’s R.I.P. Society.

CITIZENS PATROL. Dead Children (No Way) 4.50 EUR. Holland's maniacs are back with another ripper of an ep. This time they bring us 6 songs of their brand of hyper-speed HC punk, comparable to early US bands like SPERMBIRDS or RKL but bringing their own flavor to the table.

CITIZEN’S PATROL. Sick Routine (No Way) 4.50 EUR. Review From MRR #297: No Way Records has done it again. I still have not heard a bad record come from this label. Great looking artwork and layout and fast and to-the-point hardcore. CITIZEN’S PATROL hail from the Netherlands and play great early-‘80s sounding American hardcore that sound a lot like DIRECT CONTROL and DEAD STOP. The ten songs on this 45 are all ragers that don’t stop coming and never slow down. Definitely one of the best hardcore records to come out of Europe this year.

CLOAK/DAGGER. Don’t Need A (Grave Mistake) 4.50 EUR. Brand new three song 7" EP from CLOAK/DAGGER! This single charges through the title track "DON'T NEED A" which is taken from their upcoming LP "LOST ART" due out on JADE TREE this NOVEMBER, and is rounded out with two non-LP tracks on the B-side, only available on this single. This 7" is a one time only pressing! Comes with a digital download card.

CLOCKCLEANER. Skinheaded Lady (Stained Circle) 6.00 EUR. It's suitable that a band that seemed to draw so heavily from Australian music should play some of their last ever shows in the cities that X, Lubricated Goat and The Scienists crawled out of. For this tour, CLOCKCLEANER recorded a sleazy love tune to bald headed women in “Skinheaded Lady,” and paid tribute to the greatest Australian punk band ever, X, with a raw cover of “Hate City” to boot. Australian import.

CLOROX GIRLS. All I Wanna Do EP (Discos Subterraneos) 5.00 EUR.

CLOROX GIRLS. Boys/Girls (Prugelprinz) 5.50 EUR. This new 7" brings you 3 new smashers on 45 rpm. 2 are already on the last full length on BYO, but believe me, these versions are harder, faster and way better!!!( "Boys/Girls" , "Do You Know That" )
The 3rd songs is a greatly done coversong of the old brazilian punk - band TITAS : "Policia".
The 7" comes in a nice full color artwork , real cardboardsleeve , lyricsheet and colored wax versions for the collectors.haha...what more do expect from a new CLOROX GIRLS 7".

COASTING. One We Both Like (M’Lady’s) 5.00 EUR. Immensely exciting debut single from one of the greatest groups in Brooklyn. Triple A-sided juggernaut that sounds like summer. And autumn. And the city. And the forest. Incredibly rockin', truly. As featured on Pitchfork, GvsB, Stereogum, and just about every other music related rumpus on the computer. Smash hit in full effect! Going fast!

COCONUT COOLOUTS. We Drink Blood (Florida’s Dying) 5.00 EUR. Seattle's biggest party starters are back with another single of infectous party pop. Two songs about drinking blood and bashing nerds. And the added bonus of the coolouts ode to last year's Shotgun Heard Around the World. KILL YOUR PARENTS!!!!

COÏTUS INT. Dead Excitement (Bunkerpop) 6.00 EUR. We are happy to announce BUNKERPOP's first release, a reissue of Dutch post-punk band COITUS INT.'s debut 7", the DEAD EXCITEMENT EP. All the original artwork is included, plus some extra photos and contributions. One of our favorite records ever!
From the Still Single blog: "Early punk reissue from a Utrecht band of college kids (at the time - 1980 when this was made) who sound really eager to drink and challenge the wits of the unarmed, and play some intellectual/better-than-you kind of jittery scrape that's of a piece with most of the Dutch punk scene I've heard from that era. They remind at points of a less dance-oriented Gang of Four, eager to play a riff until it cries uncle and do some spiteful narration atop of it, before kicking into some more melodic, wavo-minded rock. Unassuming at first, the five-to-six songs here get more exciting with repeat spins, particularly the B-side offerings "Trap Questions" and "Dry Up Soon." For the seasoned, hey, one more drop of Everclear in a big tub full of Hawaiian Punch, but if this is the band that makes you want to play music, by all means, follow that dream."

COLA FREAKS. Mig Mig Mig (Rob’s House) 5.00 EUR. COLA FREAKS are gritty KBD punks from Denmark who have somehow captured that amazing adverts guitar tone and made it their own.... most recently Jay Reatrard toyed with those same tones so it should be no surprise that this record was originally slated for release by Shattered Records. What sets them apart is that Cola Freaks draw from a darker region of KBD punk. MADS STOBBERUP’s nervous vocal attack is riddled with tensions bordering on unstability. Paired with the song writing, there's an underlying fear in Cola Freaks' songs that suggest a "don't fuck with me, I might snap” attidude. i.e. this isn't fun and safe punk rock and things will get crazy. 500 pressed on black vinyl.

COLA FREAKS/AUTISTIC YOUTH. Split 7” (Taken By Surprise) 5.00 EUR. Review From Razorcake Magazine: Cola Freaks: Great Dannish punk that's innovative and uncomprimising. These guys know how to disguise their pop music under viels of dark, unpredicatable punk. Recorded by Jay Reatard. Autistic Youth: Imagine No Hope For The Kids or Young Wasteners growing up in Portland to the soundtrack of the Observers as well as a healthy helping of Adolescents and other early West Coast punk bands. Great split.

COLA FREAKS. Dxdt Batteri (Local Cross) 5.00 EUR. This new 45 from the Aarhus boys, their 3rd, kinda takes the best of their two previous singles. The Killed By Death punk of the debut, and the more new wave/postpunkish vibe of "Ingenting Set" are infused with outstanding results. The vocals of Mads are this time lower in the mix while the dynamics of the band reaches new heights rarely heard in the Danish punk scene, hell, most bands on the international punkrock map sound inferior and weak compared to Cola Freaks. Both "Dxdt Batteri" and the flip, "Nej", are amazing examples of the 5-piece's unique knack for (re)writing punkrock history while still reminding us why we love the likes of The Wipers and Jay Reatard.

COLA FREAKS. Ingenting Set (Hjernespind) 5.00 EUR. Hailing from Aarhus Denmark, the Cola Freaks return with their sophmore 7” of fizzy, carbonated, rot your teeth punk rock. Named after a song by fellow Danes the Lost Kids. It has that old, almost Dangerhouse sound that many recent Danish exports are wont to do. Puts me to mind of The Regulations , Gorilla Angreb or a slower Dean Dirg. Catchy and rocking, they’ve loaded up on e-numbers and plonked down three beauties that are well worth your time and attention! I dug this quite a lot!

COMPLICATIONS. Coffin/Blinded (Feral Ward) 4.50 EUR. Review From MRR #298 (Best Of 2007):
“Blinded” probably got more listens than any other song this year. I’m a habits type of person so I woke up every single day this summer and played this song. Then I would go for a walk, come home, and listen to it again-then later on in the day too. Sometimes I’d listen “Coffin” and it’s all right but, fuck, “Blinded” is so damn good. Also keep your peepers peeled ‘cos an Lp is inminent.

CONCENTRATION SUMMER CAMPS. You Hate CSC (Discos Humeantes) 5.00 EUR.

CONCENTRATION SUMMER CAMPS/MULETRAIN. Split 7” (No Tomorrow) 5.00 EUR. Brutal!!!!!!!!

CONDOMINIUM. Barricade (Fashionable Idiots) 4.50 EUR. This is the third 7" from St. Paul, MN-based band Condominium. With this record, they are clearly figuring out what musical boundaries they can poke and prod while remaining firmly rooted in the world of hardcore. On the A-side, "Barricade" wallows in the kind of awkward tension that results from never wanting to leave your house. It alternates between crushing two-step hardcore and wild, jangly noise rock played in non-standard tuning. The B-side is a slower instrumental song. A sparse, laid back jam that brings to mind Black Flag and The Jesus Lizard in its winding, ugly guitar riffs and lurching rhythms. Comes in a hand-stamped picture sleeve.

CONTAMINATORS. No Friends (Going Underground) 5.50 EUR.  Debut 7" from Bakersfield, CA most killer punk band to date! Bred on a healthy obsession with the Dot Vaeth Group , Nasty Facts, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers. Loneliness and desperation and you have our favorite record yet.

CONTROL DE ESTADO. Acto Criminal (Burrito) 3.50 EUR. The band is from my town, Brandon, FL, so I am pretty stoked to get this one out. It is their first record and Burrito's twenty-fifth. CONTROL DE ESTADO plays fast hardcore in the style of Los crudos, etc. Most of the lyrics are in Spanish. Most of them are on pink vinyl. Real cool cover art by a local artist, too. They make Los Crudos sound like Menudo.

COP WARMTH. S/T (In The Red) 5.50 EUR. The debut release from Houston, TX's newest noise mongers. Five tracks of ugly noise rock that will melt your face. Edition of 500.

COPROLITOS. S/T 2x7" (Blondes Must Die Records BMDR-014) 9.00 EUR.
To say that the last record by COPROLITOS is excellent is stating the obvious, although is not bad to make things clear from the beginning. Luckily, despite the images included in the album, it hasn't been necessary to sell COPROLITOS's soul to the Evil one in order to compose and stamp in a state of the art double 7" those new (and fucking good) eight songs, it's simple, is just the product of their talent and their ability to combine, like very few other groups know how to do, Punk KBD (BAGS, ALLEYCATS) with Spanish Punk (PARALISIS PERMANENTE, DESECHABLES).
**Limited Edition to 264 copies**

COPROLITOS. Miss Melilla EP (Blondes Must Die Records BMDR-011) 5.00 EUR.
COPROLITOS are back with their "Miss Melilla EP," just one year after their last single, which was also released on BMD Records (receiving great reviews in both MRR and Terminal Boredom). Now these four from Madrid have recorded another five songs that stand out with the ever powerful voice of María. They remind us that their influences still combine that classic KBD sound, the speed and competence of more current groups like the TYRADES and the talent and magic of 80s Spanish Punk classics like ULTIMO RESORTE. A truly extraordinary single that shows the best side of modern Spanish punk. Edition of 500 copies (100 in pink vinyl available through mailorder from the label, 400 in black vinyl).

THEE CORMANS. Biker Bitch (In The Red) 5.50 EUR. Southern California’s favorite mongoloid biker-surf-Halloween instrumental combo Thee Cormans are back with another sizzling 7-inch of fuzzed-out retardation. Pressed in an edition of 400, these babies are gonna go fast, so get with it!
“It sounds shit-tastic, the surf numbers absolutely rip and the fuzz tracks summon some unbelievably crackling and staticky sounds. Even the bass throbs with extra menace.” —Terminal Boredom.

CPC GANGBANGS. The Broken Glass (Seeing Eye) Picture SN 6.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! Here it is kiddies, the brand new heart stopper of a 7” from Mtl’s most barbarous garage band, the CPC Gangbangs! This puppy is a picture disc, designed by Mr. Tommy Gangbang himself, so it looks as sick as it sounds. The tracks (“The Broken Glass” b/w “Rich Rich Rich”) are absolute killers, that aren’t available on their new Swami album, and definitely aren’t rejects! For enhanced pleasure, I’d recommend renting Pathfinder (pure Viking violence) and putting this baby on in the background.

CRAMPS. Sunglasses After Dark (Fan Club) 7.00 EUR. Live. Tracks: Sunglasses After Dark, Human Fly and Caveman.

CRASH KILLS FIVE. What Do You Do At Night? EP (Ugly Pop) 6.00 EUR. CRASH KILLS FIVE exploded onto the Toronto punk scene with this self-released EP in the summer of 1980, blasting through three tracks of supremely catchy punk rock that perfectly balanced memorable song-writing with quick tempos and raw guitar attack, clearly inspired by early Ramones, Diodes and early Buzzcocks. A planned 12" follow-up was never released, as the band split up soon after, with members going on to early hardcore outfit Young Lions and legendary surf-punk band Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet, leaving behind only this very collectible single. Faithful reconstruction of original artwork plus detailed new insert with tons of info for punk history geeks like us.

CRETEENS. Cocksucker (Boom Chick) 4.50 EUR. Noisy cocksucking punk blues from this Paris-based people with Reatards and Oblivians in vein. Absolutely their best release so far! Purple vinyl.

CRETEENS. Kway Bleu (Boom Chick) 4.50 EUR. French lo-fi punk faves THE CRETEENS return with four tracks of sweet fuckishness. You get: “Kway Bleu,” “Hot Sauce,” “Dungeons & Dragons,” and “Beer Shits.”

CRIME. Extortion (FYBS) 5.00 EUR. Johhny Strike, Hank Rank, and the gang are doing two new ripping CRIME jams on the A side.  On the flip we have the traditional Moroccan band, Gnawa Express, collaborating with CRIME to bring us the eerie "Suwani". 520 total press.

CRIMEN. Nada Importa (Discos Enfermos) 4.00 EUR.

CRITICAL MASS. Silver Screen/No One Left To Blame (Last Laugh) 6.00 EUR. They couldn't help that they were from Florida and God help you if you sleep on this reissue of the Sunshine State's first punk band!  Miami, Florida's Critical Mass rose out of the primordial ooze left in the snail-trail of the Sex Pistols' ill-fated southern U.S. tour with both sides showing dangerous levels of infection with Johnny Rotten inflection and Johnny Thunders-style guitar a year before The Eat ever recorded.  A must-have, caricatured punk classic with only 200 copies originally pressed and no picture sleeve ever issued.  If you don?t buy ten copies of the legit and band-sanctioned Critical Mass reissue on Last Laugh Records, there will truly be no one left to blame, but yourself!

CROMOSOMA 3. Mentes Enfermas (Pakistan R'n'R Crussade/Dead By Mono) 6.00 EUR.

CROSS LAWS. Ancient Rites (Sorry State) 4.50 EUR. Review From MRR #295: This is the second official EP from CROSS LAWS. They honed the sound just right on this one. It’s perfectly raw as if every piece os equipment and possibly even the recording space were all transported from 1982. The buried melodic guitar bits are my favourite part of this band –every now and then they crest out more overtly and that’s cool too. The six songs on this fly by, and then I am ready to play it again because it’s that good, every song. I keep thingking that I am bored with the early ‘80s revival, but occasionally I am surprised by great records like this.

LOS CULITOS. Un Año Sin Verte EP (Self Released) 5.00 EUR. Second 7”. 200 copies.

CUNT PUPPET. Ann Heizer's Bush (Sack of Shit) 5.00 EUR. Canciones de Rock y Punk sobre sexo y cervezas. Una gran voz. Para todos esos que echan de menos la mejor cara de GG ALLIN.

CUSTOMERS. Howling At The Moon (Rob’s House) 5.00 EUR. With the break up of CARBONAS, BEAT BEAT BEAT and THE HEART ATTACKS, CUSTOMERS are just one of the new bands emerging from Atlanta with the forementioned band members regrouped. Notwithstanding, the Customers are bringing a fresh sound to the Southern capital and are sure to make a name for themselves outside of their previous connections. Here's their debut release, get in on it now as we expect many more to follow. 600 pressed on black vinyl.

CUTE LEPERS. Tribute To Charlie (No Front Teeth) 5.00 EUR. The Cute Lepers are back spitting out power pop gems at high speed and they continue to navigate the same territory pioneered by bands like The Buzzcocks, The Beat, The Jam, and The Boys pioneered a generation before, but with the quirks and crooked teeth you'd expect from two guys who used to be in The Briefs. Tracks: Tribute To Charlie / Misdirected (Raw Demo Version).

DE CYLINDERS. We Must Pay (Sing Sing) 6.00 EUR. “We must pay,” an intoxicating musical mix of fun, frenzy and finances, was DE CYLINDERS’ second single for CNR. Remarkably, the song was recorded in a single take during the same sessions that spawned the first single. As such, the sound of “We Must Pay” comes very close to what De Cylinders delivered as a live band. Propelled by a haunting Farfisa organ, “We Must Pay” is 24 karat power pop. The medium-tempo flipside “Chart Buster” is no stinker either. Fact: Today, nearly 30 years later, CNR is home to André Rieu, king of the Wiener Waltz, a definite non-power pop megastar from the Netherlands.

DAGGER DICKS/ELECTRIC COCKS. Split 7" (Bowery) 5.00 EUR. London penis-split (or split-penis?!!) spectacular featuring the snotty razor-cocked punk of the Dagger Dicks - think The Boys meets The Jabbers and the Electric Cocks serve up their debut recording of pure 1977 punk rock on this split of that will get you twitching like a spastic.
The Dagger Dicks include members of The Gaggers and the Botox Rats and the Electric Cocks feature members of Johnny Throttle and The Spittin' Vicars.
There are 2 covers for this split - the regular version and a super-special limited 'spunk' edition of just 100 units that are splashed with baby batter.

DAILY VOID/O VOIDS. Split 7” (Don’t Hit Records) 5.00 EUR. We are proud to present the first vinyl release, a split 7" between Chicago’s the Daily Void and Montreal’s,  O Voids. 2 songs from each band with the Daily Void’s apocalyptic deterioration playing off the O Voids stark noir punk quite nicely.

DAILY VOID. Man/Machine (Florida’s Dying) 4.50 EUR. 3 more songs of nihilistic future punk from Chicago's ex Functional Blackouts. One of my favorite bands going right now. Amazing cover art.

DAMNATION KIDS. I Wanna Do It! (High School Refuse) 5.50 EUR.

DANSETTE DAMAGE. NME (1977 Records) 9.00 EUR. Review From 45 Revolutions Book: Hailing from Smethwick, in the Midlands, Dansette Damage were formed in January 1978 by Eddie Blower (v), Colin Hall (gtr/v, ex-Rebel/Slider), Les Salcombe (d, ex-Rebel/Slider), Jeff Collins (b, ex-Slider), John Kavanagh (gtr) and backing vocalist Steve Kinloch and alan Pegg, a bunch of “drinking mates who just wanted to say: this is us…we’ve made a record!”. Recorded and mixed in seven hours (in glorious mono) at Old Smithy Recording Studios, Kempsey, in February ’78, NME and THE ONLY SOUND were issued in the first half of May as a double B-Sided 7” on the band’s own Shoestring Records. The  producer, referred to in the sleeve credits as the “Wolverhampton Wanderer”, is in fact none other than Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant (who also sang backing voclas on NME). Over time, both songs have gained high recognition among Punk and D.I.Y. collectors and deservedly so, as sheer energy and fresh enthusiasm positively fill the grooves. Recommended.

DAY CREEPER. Blah! (Tic Tac Totally) 5.00 EUR. You may already know Day Creeper from Randy Records' "New Kids On The Block" 7" comp (2009) or split 7" with Night Of Pleasure (2008). "Blah!" is the band's first 7", showcasing 4 select cuts of "rock-leaning-punk" gleaned from Aaron Troyer and Laura B's stockpile of recordings. Rock peppered with cheese-free pop kernels. Plus, a super crisp recording delivers "Blah!" from that old reverb-drunk-tank and let's Aaron's lyrics do their thing. One song on this record (Women of Age) can be heard on TTT's label sampler for a quick taste. Anticipate a ltd. LP of killer shit too.

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. S/T (Residue) 4.50 EUR. Totally awesome debut 7" from this new Chicago band featuring former members of Pedestrians and the Manhandlers. These guys have a definite Gorilla Angreb vibe with upbeat, garaged-out punk fronted by a yelping, occasionally screeching female singer. Like GA, these guys also get the X comparison quite a bit, but you won't hear any rockabilly here. Definitely a debut you want to check out if you're as big a Gorilla Angreb fan as I was.

DEAD KENNEDYS. Nazi Punks Fuck Off! (Alternative Tentacles) 5.00 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! "Nazi Punks Fuck Off!" was the fifth single by the Dead Kennedys. The record was released in 1981 on Alternative Tentacles with "Moral Majority" as the b-side. Both songs from this single are taken from the In God We Trust, Inc. EP, although the version of the title track on the EP is different from the version on the single.
The single included as a bonus an armband with a crossed-out swastika. The design has since become associated with the Dead Kennedys and anti-racist punks in general.

DEAD LUKE. Record Two (Sacred Bones) 5.00 EUR. The second offering from Dead Luke and the final installment to be included with the box set of records and other assorted ephemera. A two-sider from the warped mind of this Wisconsin home-recorder. Recommended for psychedelic electronic skronk enthusiasts.

DEAN DIRG. What's New? Nothing (P.Trash) 5.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! "What's new?" you may ask yourself and the our beloved nerds of DEAN DIRG will blare "Nothing!" back at you. But we at P.Trash would never fool you with a half-assed release and what you get here is the stripped down and naked truth of what this band is all about and why everybody goes apeshit to their sound. On one side there's the three berserkers "Do it right", "Fix my head with a knife", Dean Dirg's bored" plus a funny lil' intermezzo all recorded live in Mannheim in perfect sound quality. The 5 songs on the other side are the first songs the band recorded after the release of their first 10inch "9 refreshing ways" as demo-versions for the "s/t" 12inch. After the release of that record, that band decided that these versions here sound so much better than the ones that found their way on vinyl and so, what you can hear are rougher and dirtier varieties of "Rock out", "Our laugh's on you", "Punk Punk", "Cholesterol attack" and "Chartbreaker Ha Ha Ha" that finally see the light of day. Halleluja!!!

DEAR JOHN. Frustrated Conversation (BDR Records) 6.00 EUR. Two '70s style Power Pop songs ala Raspberries or The Shoes, originally released in 1981 on their own label. The single has been a tough find for Power Pop collectors, easily fetching $40-60 on auction sites. We found out why it has been hard to locate, when Robert Kuhlmann of Dear John let us know he found half the vinyl from the original pressing in storage during a visit to his mom's house! They had only printed a small number of sleeves at the time, so we've repackaged the remaining, original vinyl copies in a new sleeve featuring liner notes, gig posters and other ephemera. This re-release is limited to the 350 copies on hand. The first 100 copies include a download coupon for the single plus two bonus tracks from the same recording session.

DEEP SLEEP. Manic Euphoria (Grave Mistake) 4.50 EUR. Two years, lineup changes, drugs, jail, and other assorted misfortunes can't keep a good band down. Baltimore's DEEP SLEEP are back with a vengeance, this time around firing out six more tracks of their brand of seething yet addictive punk rock. Expanding on the early southern california punk influences of the first record, and adding an extra dosage of ALL/Descendents style weirdness and catchiness to the picture, MANIC EUPHORIA shows a distinct evolution from their debut while maintaining all of the elements you grew to love in the first place.

DEEP SLEEP. You're Screwed (Grave Mistake) 4.50 EUR. Nine song debut EP from Baltimore's DEEP SLEEP. Prepare yourself for a nonstop barrage of raw, spiteful, in your face hardcore punk rock. Loaded with enough infectious hooks to keep you singing along from start to finish, while packing enough punch to knock you straight on your ass at the same time. Imagine what the DESCENDENTS would sound like if they were a city like Baltimore, and not Southern California.

DEERHUNTER. Grayscale One-Sided 7-Inch (Rob’s House) 5.00 EUR. A reissue of the DEERHUNTER side of a limited split 7-inch with Hubcap City. Originally pressed in an edition of 300, Rob’s House decided to reissue the single, but found Hubcap City had lost the plates to their half. So, presented here is Deerhoof’s half in a new edition of 500.

DEMON’S CLAWS. Fucked On K (Rob’s House) 5.00 EUR. Demon's Claws are one of the most dynamic combos to take the filthy route directly to your brain, and each live performance solidifies their earnest ambition to stomp their furious rock'n roll death trip into submission. Their stumbling, rambling ways have lead folks down the darker side of americana-tinged blues-punk on more than one occasion, and this one just might be the best. [1000 pressed, black vinyl.

DESGUACE BENI. A Tumba Abierta EP (Discos Fractales/It Lives In The Woods/Discos Me Cago En Dios/Odio Sonoro/Truco Esparrago) 5.00 EUR. "Somos Deguace Beni...

DICTAPHONE. Control Led Meetings (Sweet Rot) 5.00 EUR. Sweet Rot's attraction to France continues with the debut release from French band The Dictaphone. This six song single is full of unrelenting, hypnotic songs that maintain a whopping dose of catchiness for a result that is both ugly and beautiful. Should please fans of other Sweet Rot bands A.H. Kraken and Love Tan.

DIE ROTZZ. S/T (Cutthroat/AG82) 5.00 EUR. Bad ass, lofi New Orleans punk/garage that sounds like it could be on a KBD comp. 200 copies only.

DIE ROTZZ/SCRIPTS. Split 7” (Jethrow) 5.50 EUR. Review From MRR #284: A welcome split by two of the US punk scene’s unsung bands, both of which have an EP or two under their belt. There’s a song from each band on both sides of the record, and while I ordinarily am not crazy about traded-off songs on split records, it works pretty well on this one ‘cause the bands are so well matched. They are both mid-tempo garage-level bands withg some hardcore and thug-punk inflections, and they both have a falling apart element as well that gives them a timeless great-grandsons-of-the-GERMS feel. I think the SCRIPTS come out just a hair ahead of DIE ROTZZ on this one; their songs are a little more off kilted but kind of have more swagger too, and some weirdo instrumentation thrown in on “Erase Your Face” that sounds awesome. I even think they could pull their shit off on a full-length records, which is saying a lot ‘cause these are very EP friendly types os bands, so I’ll just wait around here patiently for said long player to show up at our door.

DIGGER AND THE PUSSYCATS. Jap Wedding (Nasty Product) 5.50 EUR. Review From Terminal Boredom E-Zine: For a year or so there, before ECSR and Ooga Boogas and related projects blew the lid off the continent, Digger & The Pussycats were the best new Aussie band I'd heard since the glory days of The Sailors. They didn't have the overall impact that Eddy Current turned out to possess, but they were doing something cool and seemed to be growing from a trad two-piece bash-and-grab combo to something a bit more wild and off-kilter especially on that split 10", which was the last I heard. And even though ECSR-fever made me forget about them for a spell, they're still kicking, and I still think they've carved a nice little niche for themselves. "Japanese Wedding" is a narrative tale, with a loop-like drum/guitar rhythm undercurrent over which the dude whangs trebly-feedback soloing all over as he spits out his story. Pretty great, and not too dissimilar to a less-weird Feeling of Love and that relentless rhythm-pound is the stuff monsters are made of. These two can really toss off some winners, and I mean that. "Wrong People" is just-good-enough rock, although they do it better as a two-piece than a lot of groups with double the personnel. "Cock-A-Spaniel Cunt-Tree" is a slow-twang linguistic joke where they build lyrics off various "bad" words, with the emphasis on cock and cunt obviously, with some fuckings thrown in there for good measure. Goofily funny and definitely Austrailian but really just good-natured B-Side filler. I'm keeping the A-Side of this for some mixtaping, the rest falls victim to mediocrity, but to me, Aussie mediocre is better than most other country's mediocre.

DIGITAL LEATHER. Lousy Manipulator (Neat Neat Neat) 5.00 EUR. DIGITAL LEATHER deliver the cut “Lousy Manipulator,” backed with an acoustic version of “Depression” and a cover of The Reatards “I’m So Gone.” Edition of 500 packaged in silk-screened sleeves.

DIGITAL LEATHER. 3 Songs EP (Ghost Highway Recordings) 6.50 EUR. Side A: "Sponge" and "Deliver" (M.O.T.O.). Side B: "Shadows of Night". Limited Edition of 350 copies. Cover by Sinboy.

DIGITAL LEATHER. Power Surge (FDH Records) 5.00 EUR. 2 songs from Digital Leather. Power Surge is a brand new unreleased track. The B side is a older tune "Shattered Reflections". This song has never has a proper DL release. Their was a cover version of this track released on the Terror Visions full length.

DIGITAL LEATHER. Fresh Secret (Red Lounge) 5.00 EUR. Germany's gayest label, Red Lounge Records, is pleased to announce another Happy and Gay Record from Shawn Foree!!! "Fresh Secrets" is a tune in the "Closed my Eyes" direction. B Side consists of two older recordings: "On Saturday" & "Happily Ever After" feat. DEVON DISASTER!

DIGITAL LEATHER. Assault (Red Lounge) 5.00 EUR. Bomb Surprise!! Killer 7" by Shawn Foree. The Assault b/w Video Phase. Two hard hitting Electro Disco Tracks. Weird….like we like it!!
GONER RECORDS SAYS: The assault perfectly evokes the 80s yuppie malaise mixed with nuclear holocaust/pastel/shoulder pad inspired dread.

DIGITAL LEATHER. Closed My Eyes (P.Trash) 5.50 EUR. To give Shawn Foree and his new band DIGITAL LEATHER a heartly welcome to Europe again, P.Trash and FDH Records dug out this wonderful display of synthesized Punk spasticity, that originally was released in 2007 by Disordered Records in a limited run of only 250 copies, and re-press it now. ''Closed my eyes'' and ''Frown'' were also on the band's ''Blow-Machine'' LP, but the version herein are way harder, rougher and better. On these two songs, frightening synthesizers and undercooled vocals create a mood that sounds like if San Francisco's SCREAMER and SUICIDE would be meeting in a darkroom for some fast and anonymous action. The unreleased ''Plane'' could be compared to a punkier version of WARSAW while the super-catchy tune ''Photo-lie'' fills every dancefloor with its positive elements of HUMAN LEAGUE crossed with an overdose of noisy Electro-Punk. This Europe-Tour 2008 re-press comes with a new artwork!!!

DIGITAL LEATHER. Euro Tour EP (Red Lounge) 5.50 EUR. A Great EP from this Dark Driven Electro Genius!

DIGITAL LEATHER. She Had A Cameltoe (Goner) 5.50 EUR. Electronic, hypnotic, brilliance from Digital Leather! A-side is a catchy as hell ode to cameltoeian allure, b-side is darker synth-punkish and more like material on the Shattered Records lp.

DIGNAN PORCH. On A Ride (Captured Tracks) 5.50 EUR. "A brief burst of sweetly melancholic garage pop reminding me of some mid-’90s MTV vibe back when it had weird lo-fi videos in the AM that would kind of stick in your brain, or perhaps it was just me being easily susceptible at the time. Anyway, this new London band reminds me fondly of many things from the era, as well as having something of a more psychedelic Skygreen Leopards air to it. Definitely one to keep an eye out for."—Don't Die Wandering. A-Side is from the forthcoming Tendrils LP. Exclusive B-Side.

DIRTBOMBS. Play Sparks (In The Red) 4.50 EUR. Talent is an asset and Detroit's Dirtbombs surely have it. To accompany their new album, We Have You Surrounded, is this brand new 7-inch single on which the band pays homage to label-mates (and one of their favorite bands) Sparks. Side A is "Sherlock Holmes" (a cut also featured on the new album) which was originally released on Sparks' Angst In My Pants. Side B, available exclusively on this single, is "Nothing To Do," a song originally released on the 1975 Big Beat LP.
This single comes in a handsome color picture sleeve, which also pays tribute to Sparks' record covers.

DISSIMILARS. Landmine (Plastic Idol) 5.00 EUR. Review From Terminal Boredom E-Zine: On "Landmine" the Dissimilars remind me a lot of some my favorite juvie-delinquent garage acts from the glory days: the Fells, Drags, Motards, and Cryin' Out Louds all come to mind while spinning this EP. The title cut is a killer, "(Crushin' Up) Pills" is as good as it sounds, and "Turn Me Loose" has some great lyrics. A whole lot of fun, and shorter and better than their debut single from earlier in the year. If you need a fun record to spin at parties, this is definitely it. If you're looking for a record that is gonna blow your fucking jaded mind and take you on a trip somewhere far out in the reaches of the musical universe you've never visited before, well, go listen to fucking Mindflayer and insert the stick back in your ass.  Jesus christ.

D.O.A. Triumph Of The Ignoroids (Lady Kinky Karrot) 5.50 EUR. Formed in Vancouver in 1978, DOA have managed to be the longest reigning punk act in Canada. This is their debut "Triumph Of The Ignoroids" (a 12" released in 1979) reissued as 7" with a bonus track!

DOPECHARGE. Hill Cops Dead (Roehrs Records) 5.00 EUR. Rarely has the phrase "the man, the myth, the legend" been more appropriate than when it's used to describe the late, great BRUCE ROEHRS—renowned for his writing in Maximum Rocknroll and for being an all-around troublemaker. Always a champion of the underdog, Bruce would go out of his way to support and lend his ear to new, young, up-and-coming bands. So what better way to honor his endless enthusiasm for punk, hardcore and all forms of rock'n'roll than to start a label in his memory? Roehrs Records' sole purpose is to release ONLY fledgling bands that have not released a record, aren't carried by the "ex-members-of..." tag, and of course would make Bruce shove you around in the pit to. After soliciting submissions, the folks behind the label agreed that DOPECHARGE was the perfect debut Roehrs Records release, since they were local, the members were close friends of Bruce, and it straight-up rrrrrips. Six tunes of classic UK82 / Discharge-informed noisy punk with some of the best and catchiest vocals this style has ever produced. For fans of the Varukers, Disorder, Riot City Records, Chaos UK, Lebenden Toten, Bog People and GBH.

DOUBLE NEGATIVE. Raw Energy (Sorry State) 5.00 EUR. Review From MRR #302: This band’s LP should have been an easy top-ten last year, but the vocals and recording inexplicably killed it for me. In contrast, the second I heard this 7” I knew I had to get ahold of one instantly. The true sound of frustration, fury, dumb rage – just the best kind of hardcore, in other words. It’s got the wild abandon of the best Italian hardcore combined with the brutal fucked-up times of early C.O.C. or fuckin’ KORO. One side was recorded with a single mic in a practice space and it’s just so dense and raging and gone. This is one of the best hardcore 7”s of the past few years, just fucking great timeless mutant music for malcontent types. The packaging is awesome too – cool clear vinyl and a silver gatefold cover. You need this record.

DOW JONES AND THE INDUSTRIALS. Can’t Stand The Midwest (Hardly Music) 5.50 EUR. This is a legit reissue of an obscure and sought after punk/new wave treasure. Dow Jones and the Industrials' 1981 sole 7-inch EP, originally issued on the Hardly Music label, is immaculately re-mastered from the original tapes and now available on audiophile vinyl. Dow Jones and the Industrials of West Lafayette, Indiana existed from the late 1970s into the early 80s amongst a stylistically matchless state-wide scene that included The Gizmos, Zero Boys and Dancing Cigarettes. This EP -- of which original copies have swapped hands for more than $200 -- contains the often bootlegged and covered anthem "Can't Stand the Midwest," along with "Let's Go Steady" and "Indeterminism." This record was the second and final release from Dow Jones after the 1980 split LP with The Gizmos on Gulcher.

DREAM DATES. Surfer Joe (Ugly Pop) 6.00 EUR. Out at last, the final single from this excellent Canadian band, culled from the same 1979 session that gave us their "Moans on the Phone" and "Mess You're In" 45s. A-side's a ripping rendition of a lesser-known Surfaris number, while the flip attacks Freddie Cannon's "Tallahassee Lassie" in similar fashion, all blazing, dirty guitars, sneering vocals and amphetamine pace. If you heard the first two singles, you know what to expect-- pure late '70s North American-style punk rock in the vein of Dead Boys, Heartbreakers, Teenage Head and The Users. Not technically a reissue, but it sure fits the theme. 500 press, black vinyl, no gimmicks.

DRUID PERFUME. Don’t Eat ‘em They Are Poisonous (X! Records) 5.50 EUR. After an awesome debut LP, DRUID PERFUME is back with more manic weirdness from Detroit! "Don't Eat 'Em They're Poisonous" is a swampy stuttering scuzz journey backed with the B-side "Honk Your Horn," which kicks up the tempo and weirdo swagger even more. Druid Perfume includes two members of the now defunct PIRANHAS.

DRUID PERFUME. Other Words (M’Lady’s) 5.00 EUR. In which DRUID PERFUME gonna unmask the Batman! Fucked up and fucking great; explore the fourth world! Issued in collaboration with the esteemed Detroit record company Italy Records! Sleeve by JAMIE EASTER. Only 250 available for distribution.

DUTCHESS AND THE DUKE. Never Had A Chance (Horizontal Action) 5.50 EUR. If you've ever been seriously in love with the magical '65-66 era of the Rolling Stones songbook, and wished someone would take it upon themselves to capture that scintillating and raw sound for the contemporary stage, the Dutchess and the Duke are prime for your new favorite band slot. Jesse from Fe Fi Fo Fums, along with Kimberly of numerous Seattle bands (Rat Fancy, Flying Dutchmen, Unnatural Helpers, etc) have come into your life with a sound that's as irresistible as the originals that inspired them. This single contains two exclusive cuts not on the debut LP, and first 150 Gold editions come with alternate 'Half-tone Z Face' sleeve design.

DWARF. Gotta Get Louder (Sing Sing) 6.00 EUR. “Once in a while a single gets plucked out of obscurity which is a total revelation and becomes an obsession to track down, but rarely does this same single get played over and over and you know it has the staying power to remain a firm favourite forever. I am very glad to say that this single is one of these rare beasts. It is everything you could ever wish for and absolutely ticks ALL the right boxes. How to put a tag on 'Gotta Get Louder?’ It sits somewhere between Proto-Punk, Bubblegum/Hard Rock and Powerpop. It's insanely catchy and an instant exuberant classic. What makes this even more amazing is that most of the band were 15 at the time! 'I Won't Be Back' is stupendous in its snotty Teenage Punk attitude. I was thinking of The Runaways as I believed a girl singer was involved, but this is not the case as explained by NICK PIUNTI, ‘that would be me, make that pre-pubescent me...’ The guitars clang and crash, the drums are full power with added momentum of a glorious cowbell nailing everything down to the beat. So put both tracks together and you end up with the best coupling since Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton!”—Robin Wills (PurePop)

EARTHMEN & STRANGERS. Painter (Perfectly Round) 5.50 EUR. A new EP from RYAN WONG’s (REATARDS, LOST SOUNDS, DESTRUCTION UNIT) current outfit EARTHMEN & STRANGERS. "’Painter’ shows more complex songsmithery and detailed guitar pop with a fragile aggressiveness, taking some influence from favorite Kiwi-pop sources. B-Side is ‘Space on Our Hands’ which continues the same themes, upbeat guitar pop showing some delicate tension and played with plenty of finesse. Not a rocker by any means, but a beautifully constructed pop song with guts. Well done Mr. Rousseau. While I don't want to insinuate anyone will ever replace Jay Reatard, I think a lot of his ideas and soul carry on via Ryan, one of his longstanding bandmates and friends who he shared very similar ideas with for what they wanted to do with rock music. Ryan's had a long and illustrious career on his own anyway, which should be reason enough to pay attention.”—RK. 500 pressed on purple vinyl.

EBONICS. RocknRoll (Daggerman) 5.50 EUR. Awesome trashy punk single from San Francisco's newest group of miscreants. Folks looking for a good dose of the old fashioned punk-rock will be stoked on this release. Ebonics has members of Les Hormones, Traditional Fools and Cointel Brothers. Limited to 300 copies.

ED NASTY & THE DOPERS. I’m Gonna Be Everything (Last Laugh) 6.00 EUR. A classic of the look-what-happened-after-the-Sex-Pistols-toured-the South genre, this 1978 slab of primal punk rock stupidity finally gets the reissue treatment courtesy of Last Laugh. Official reissue of Jackson, Mississippi punk monster! Originally released on Sexo Records in 1978. Limited to 500.

EDDIE MOONEY & THE GRAVE. I Bought Three Eggs (Still Unbeatable) 6.00 EUR. Reissue of this legendary and hard to get release. Both are great melodic Powerpop/Punk songs recorded in 1978, now officially available on 7" vinyl! limited edition of 500 copies!

ELECTRIC BUNNIES. Pretty Joanna (Sacred Bones) 5.00 EUR. THE ELECTRIC BUNNIES have already come into their own releasing a string of singles and touring regularly. Late last year, Florida's Dying dropped Through The Magical Door—a debut album hailed as the S.F. Sorrow of fuzzy sludge pop that topped just about everyone's "best of" lists. Though it may be a little while longer before we get another full length, this single captures both the noisy and saccharine sweet sides of the band and should keep fans sated for now. "I Swear I'll Never Let You Go" is a two and a half minute downer-pop gem, four harmonies and all. The A-side, "Pretty Joanna," is virtually the opposite with a melody buried under layers of warm cascading fuzz and feedback.

ELECTRIC BUNNIES/PINK REASON. Split 7” (Die Stasi Records) 5.50 EUR. "Both bands take a stab at some pop with the Bunnies making a mosaic named "Colorful Teardrops" and Pink Reason teaching a lesson in pachydermy called "Hey Girl." Enough ivory on that one to return a couple tusks! "Rest your head on a cloud while flower petals sprinkle from the heavens" is a down-under style Thumper and the Electric Bunnies second offering on this one. Make sure your stereo is fit. And then we got some vintage Pink Reason drag: "Watching You Fall" Some say it's Kevin's best track--it sticks to the ribs, boy." On Die Stasi Records. Great stuff by both bands.

ELECTRIC VOMIT. 1979 Montreal Punk (Garbage Bag Records) 6.00 EUR. Formed in 1978 by acclaimed underground cartoonist Rick Trembles as a young teen, The Electric Vomit were one of the very few bands in Montreal to come out of the first wave of punk rock in the late 70's. Due to a lack of record labels and a widespread disinterest for punk rock in the area, the band never got much of a chance to spread the word, let alone release any recordings of their music. But now for the first time ever you can hear what was one of the rawest, fastest and most obnoxious bands in Montreal back in the day. The Electric Vomit were known for their garage approach to song-writing & lo-fi live stage theatricalities geared to repulse. These 3 extremely rare studio recordings were committed to reel-to-reel in 1979 featuring Rabid Roy Random's amazingly snotty vocals, Rick Trembles on guitar, Guy Lapointe on drums, and Carlos Soria on bass (who would later joined his little brother's renowned band The Nils). This record is sure to please fans of both traditional punk and hardcore as this band is the missing link between the sound of '77 and early thrash. Pretty fast for it's era, you could even call it proto-hardcore. 100% raw KBD (Killed By Death) material. Includes full lyrics & an anecdotal band bio written by Trembles.

ELECTRICUTIONS. Forgotten City (Windian) 6.00 EUR. Washington, DC-based razor sharp early punk/political slashers with driving, air-tight, almost power pop hooks. One of the few bands that combine catchy, well-played punk with meaningful lyrics and don’t sound like dicks about it. Produced by KID CONGO POWERS. Edition of 300 copies.

ELECTRICUTIONS. Sedition, Subversion And Espionage (Big Neck) 5.00 EUR. A brand new EP from this new Washington, DC band hell-bent on bringing rock’n’roll back to the Nation’s Capitol. Led by SCOTT WILSON (Odie from the BASEBALL FURIES & VIOLENT LOVERS CLUB’s brother), the band unleashes four songs of politically charged, hook-laden and riff-loaded rocking.

THE EMBARRASSMENT. Sex Drive/Patio Set (Last Laugh) 6.00 EUR. Official reissue of 1980 debut single from Kansas art punk godfathers.  Includes 2 sided insert of original cover sketch by guitarist Bill Goffrier.

ESCORBUTO CRÓNICO. Documentación (Radikal 77) 5.00 EUR. Nueva edición del single de los ESCORBUTO CRÓNICO “Documentación“, editado originalmente en 1982 por Jaja Records. Carpeta igual al original. Edicion limitada a 500 copias (vinilo negro). Incluye insert desplegable impreso a 2 caras, con las letras de las canciones, fotos y un texto escrito por “Zurda“, guitarra de ESCORBUTO CRÓNICO.

ESKORBUTO. Maldito País (Munster) 5.00 EUR. Cuatro descartes de 1982 y 1983 de la mítica banda punk anti-todo. El tema que da título al EP es inédito y los otros tres se reeditan en vinilo por primera vez. Remasterizados a partir de las bobinas originales.

ESPASMODICOS. Recomendado Para Molestar A Su Vecino (Radikal 77) 5.50 EUR. Reedición del mítico single del mismo nombre. Incluye 3 temas: "Enciendes tu motor", "Ni eficiencia ni progreso", "Están deseando que te pongas a temblar". Carpeta desplegable. Edición limitada a 500 copias.

ESTROGEN HIGHS. For All I Know (Southpaw) 5.50 EUR. ESTROGEN HIGHS peeked a lot of interest recently with their sophmore LP Friends and Relatives and this four-song EP quickly follows that up. This release much like their recent LP brings to mind a wide variety of influnces including The Wipers, Guided By Voices, and Kiwi-style pop. A new LP coming on Chicago's Trouble In Mind later this year. Limited to 300 copies.

ESTROGEN HIGHS. She Don't Bother (Milk N' Herpes) 5.00 EUR. Review From Terminal Boredom E-Zine: Second single from Estrogen Highs, another one-man-studio-band (going by the clever moniker Stefanwolf on this one) cranking out the jams. Amazing how many dudes are doing it all themselves these days. Who needs a band anymore? This one seems a bit more primitive than the first single, "She Don't Bother" brings to mind some KK&BBQ-like strum about girls not liking you (but liking Black Flag) with a wyld rave-up ending. "Friends Family LSD" melds a lo-fi punk shout-a-long with some twangy guitar. B-Side is epic in length compared to the other cuts, and continues in the bare bones treble-laden garage-style. I think the "E Major..." single is the one to get here, this record didn't really catch on with me like that one did. Interesting lo-fi recording job, but gets a little samey sounding and the tunes just aren't as strong as the first one. Pretty average. Scum stats: 300 copies.

EUREKA HOT IV/MUNLET. Split 7” Tribute To The Oblivians Vol. 5 (Ghost Highway Recordings) 6.00 EUR. Vinilo compartido por estas dos magnificas bandas en un nuevo volumen rindiendo tributo a los OBLIVIANS. EUREKA HOT IV: "Feel Real Good". MUNLET: "Memphis Creep". Edición limitada y numerada de 330 copias.

EX-HUMANS. Chicane (Full Breach Kicks) 5.50 EUR. Brooklyn’s EX HUMANS are gonna rip it up! This is brand new, down and dirty, NYC punk rock. The Ex Humans are Josh Martin, Todd Martin, and Jesse Martinez. They come from other killer bands: CARBONAS, BEAT BEAT BEAT, and THE STAR SPANGLES. The EX HUMANS play fast and their songs are undeniably raw and catchy.
This is the band’s first 7” single, and it features two songs you can drunkenly smash up your apartment to. The A-side brings us “Chicane”, a song about broken hearts and resentment. The B-side is “Detector”, a song about – you guessed it – broken hearts and resentment.

EXPLODE INTO COLORS. Paper (Just For The Hell Of It) 6.00 EUR. A limited edition, one-time pressing of two new anthems from this epic Portland three-piece. With a special embossed, all-white sleeve and full-color art insert by ADEE ROBERSON, this record completes the trilogy of this year’s uniform 7-inches—the others released by M’Lady’s and Kill Rock Stars.

EXPLODE INTO COLORS. Coffins (M’lady’s) 5.00 EUR. Devastating debut from one of the most exciting groups M’Lady’s heard. CLAUDIA, LISA and HEATHER throw down with abandon and a ferocity that will leave you breathless. Guaranteed to turn yr summer ON ON ON. Formidably recorded by CHRISTINA FILES, mastered for immense bass response by BOB WESTON, and packaged in an all-white embossed sleeve with a full-color insert by AIDAN KOCH. Heavy Rotation.

FABULOSO COMBO ESPECTRO/PACO FRUTOS Y ESPOSA. Split 7” (Self Release) 5.50 EUR.

FABULOSO COMBO ESPECTRO. 3501 (Discos Humeantes) 5.00 EUR. No Wave, Punk oscuro, Garage... Millones de influencias variadas bien agitadas, que hacen de las tres canciones que componen este EP algo excitante. Edición de 300 copias.

FABULOSO COMBO ESPECTRO. Don’t Waste My Time (Producciones Esporádicas) 5.00 EUR. Flamante primer single de El FABULOSO COMBO ESPECTRO para Producciones Esporádicas y la humanidad. Preciosa carpeta serigrafiada. Canciones: Don’t Waste My time, Lomo De Bolsillo, Grupi, Ruido De Huesos, Conocidos De Segunda.

THE FANS. Give Me That Look (1977 Records) 9.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! The Fans were formed in 1978 by George Smith (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Robert Williams (lead guitar), Barry Cook (Vocals, bass) and Tony Bird (Vocals and drums). The Bristol, England music scene was humming at the time and The Fans very quickly became not only one of the city's premier bands but also one of the premier bands in the UK.
The band was enthralled by the same vision of creating quality songs at a speed which reflected the genre of the time and their drugs of choicer (cocaine and speed). The principal songwriter was George who had already enjoyed chart success with his earlier band - George and the Dragons. Robert had already had considerable success with the Bristol band Uncle Po, whose members included Gavin King on vocals (later to form the Private Dicks band - also imported by Listening-Post Music) and Helen O'Hara (later to join Dexy's Midnight Runners).
The Fans' first single was released in 1979 on the newly formed Fried Egg record label -Giving Me That look backed with Stay The Night and the band's version of the Jim Reeves' song - He'll Have To Go: Following considerable success, their second single was released on Fried Egg in 1980 with the songs You Don't Live Here Anymore and Following You. At this time the band secured a major publishing deal but internal frictions about musical direction caused the band to split.

THE FANS. You Don't Live Here Anymore (1977 Records)  9.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! FAST TAKERS. She’s Goin’ Crazy (Skygoat) 5.50 EUR. 4 hot tracks of killer garagepunkrocknroll on melting wax from the very fertile land of Portland, Oregon. 300 copies.

FATALS. Live At WFMU (Profet) 6.00 EUR. Review from Terminal Boredom E-zine: Recorded live on Terre T's Cherry Blossom Clinic during last year's American tour, this thing sounds great for being a live Fatals-on-the-radio recording. They sound more noise-punk than garage-trash without the mountainous distortion of the records, although the volume and intensity are still there. If you saw them at the Blackout, you know they slayed, and they quickly and devastatingly pound out three wall-to-wall classics on the A-Side, ending with my particular Fatals tune, "Can't Change My Style". They pack two more on the flip, crashing to an end with "I Wanna Dance" and its extended guitarslaughter close. A good live document, but not really unearthing anything new. Scum stats: plain jane form-fitting cardboard sleeve with center hole. 500 copies.

FEELING OF LOVE. School Yeah (Sweet Rot) 5.50 EUR. The Metz Trifecta is complete. First it was The Anals, then A.H. Kraken, and now Sweet Rot is pleased to present a third record from Metz, France, a three-song single from THE FEELING OF LOVE. Just like their previous releases this one features a schizophrenic mix that somehow makes perfect sense. You get one studio-recorded hit and one drum machine fueled jam on the A-side, and an absolutely beautiful, yet fucked, reinterpretation of a Gainsbourg classic on the flip. Pretty cool cover art too. Black vinyl.

THE FEMS. Go To A Party (Drag City) 8.00 EUR. OK, we can all agree that reissue LPs are among the coolest things going in the music bizness today, right? Well, wait 'til you get ahold of the latest trend: reissue 7" records! We're getting the party started by resurrecting the fantastic sound of The Fems. To do so, we had to travel back to the year 1982, when this single was pressed in some insignificant amount by the band and spread around the country, one copy at a time. The Fems represented early American hardcore punk at a time when speed wasn't necessary in order to punk out and the intersection of angst and humor was a common crossroads for aspirant songwriters. Hence, the barbed humor of "Go To A Party" and "Is It Living?" alongside the primal screaming of "Order." The Fems were a legend in their hometown of Buffalo, presiding over energy-charged crowds with loads of sarcastic banter and making themselves a party favorite in the wide-open early 80s. Their 7" EP Go To A Party was recorded with the vocals, drums and bass closest to the mic and the guitar somewhere in the next room - but the low, rumbling sound that resulted is a unique vision from early punk days. For frustrated collectors, it's a must-have - but not too many copies have been pressed, as part of our effort to duplicate the original release in every way. Make us sorry, punker! If you're in Buffalo around Christmas you can catch The Fems' annual reunion show - but if not, this is your chance at a rare slice of punk rock greatness come back from the grave!

FEVERS. Don't Tell Me It's Wrong/He's In Town (Get Hip) 5.00 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! All of Rock and Roll is Love, and you can't have love without heartbreak. Here are 2 tales of woe delivered only as The Fevers can. From the 'Love Always Wins' sessions. Check out 'Don't Tell Me It's Wrong' in its original version, mixed by hot producer and Fevers drummer Travis Ramin. It's a danceable foot-stomper. 'He's In Town' is an unreleased track; a steady, head-bobbing, hand-clapping hip-shaker. The Fevers play Bubblegum Rock in the tradition of Ohio Express, with Spector/Girl Group irresistible catchiness. Gavin May fronts on lead vocals and bass, Brian 'B-Man' Hermosillo on guitar/backing vocals and the legendary Travis 'Smack' Ramin on drums/backing vocals. These guys are international crowd pleasers! Every show is packed 3 deep with screaming girls! Whether opening for The 5.6.7.8.'s on tour, or playing for a junior high school assembly, they always give it all they got!

FEY GODS. Untied (Horizontal Action) 5.50 EUR. The oddness and ambiguity of Columbus, OH's own FEY GODS may seem like a handicap in some outsider perspectives, but following the rich musical tradition of Columbus' seemingly endless lo-fi treasure chest of recordings (some still surfacing), its great to know that that boundless creativity still flows richly like the two tracks included on their debut 7-inch here. Forming from the corroded ruins of THE GRAVE BLANKETS in late 2008, core members NICK & LULA boil down the bones of all of their previous ideas into a thick, gelatinous throbbing sound that reverberates and scalds simultaneously in the form of Fey Gods. The stark contrast between side A's beautifully ominous VU-style "I'm Set Free" vibrations are brashly struck back on the B-side's neurotic and irresistibly grueling and grinding death march, that ultimately signals a certain demise. Successfully incorporating the lavish and morose sides of the coin with this single, Fey Gods twist and grate their infectious slime toward your open wounds, and stick in like a parasite gasping for blood. 500 copies on black vinyl.

FINAL SOLUTIONS. DF (Jethrow Records) 5.50 EUR. Back to the avant-punk-cave for Memphis' Final Solutions, with these relative "oldies" from their set:
Lesbian Love Song (FS), Surfin With Raj Kumar & Verrappan (FS / Hellen Keller), Girls Say F.S. (FS)
(I've Got) Nightmares (Q65)
Already sold out from the label... get 'em while they exist!

FINALLY PUNK. Hypertension (M'lady's) 5.50 EUR. Four song EP featuring their latest and greytest: "Coffee, Tea, and Misery" & "Hypertension" b/w "The Place You Love Is Gone" & "Climb The Sky". Heart-stoppingly good newest record from FP, like watching the sun get eclipsed by a volcano! Also like listening to "Post-Mersh V.3" on cassette on repeat on headphones while reading "Novel on Yellow Paper" by Stevie Smith. In other words (dearhearts) HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

THE FINGERS. Isolation (Last Laugh Records) 6.00 EUR. Official reissue of insanely rare 1977 Pittsburgh punk EP.  Mastered from original 7.5 ips tape.  Members went on to form The Features, who released the great 'Floozie of the Neighborhood' single in 1979.  Don't miss your chance to work it out with the Fingers!

FIRESTARTER. Saturday Night (Shit Sandwich/Modernist Recordings) 5.50 EUR. If you're a fan of the sort of music released on Shit Sandwich (by which we mean great music), then Firestarter likely needs nointroduction. Fifi and Sammy (of legendary Japanese garage-punk sensations TEENGENERATE) have teamed up with Natch and Jimbo to create a power-pop combo which by now is legendary in its own right. They've released a handful of records in Japan which have caused Yankee record collectors and rock fanatics to salivate like the pig-dogs they are. "Saturday Night (is the End of the World)" is their first American release, and we couldn't be more excited and proud.

FLASH ATTACKS. Revenge of The Fruitflies (Circle F.) 4.00 EUR. Review From MRR #296: Thou shall not judge a record by its cover alone. This is not the first time that I have had to learn this commandment, but it’s so hard not to get jaded when a lot of sub-par records come through MRR headquarters. I tossed this on the turntable with little expectation and my shit-worker arrogance was immediately humbled when the first few notes blasted through my headphones. This record is fucking awesome! There have been a slew of old school hardcore revival bands in the last few years (and I have absolutely no problem with that!), but certain elements of that era have not been captured that well. I’m talking about that kind of thing where the band members seem fucked up and dangerous, like maybe they carry a knife and are looking to use it. I’m talking about lyrics that are sort of personal and sort of about society, but have an underlying nihilism between the lines. FANG comes to mind here, or maybe even PTL KLUB. These Jersey boys invoke their sentiments. Musically, I would say they cue their sound from the mid-’80s hardcore era when bands like HALF OFF, CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, and POISON IDEA were keeping it together, This whole thing is fucking DIY - the band put out the EP on their own, and the lyric sheet is a total hand-drawn effort. A keeper for sure.

FLESH EATERS. Original 1978 Demos (TKO) 6.00 EUR. One of the earliest Los Angeles, CA punk bands, The Flesh Eaters formed in 1977 and soon after recorded these demos in 1978. Accompanying the only original member Chris D, the lineup featured members of X, The Plugz, Los Lobos and the Blasters, playing snotty, stripped down guitar-driven punk rock. Limited to 500 copies. Cover art by Chris D. Side A: Disintegration Nation; Side B: Agony Shorthand/Twisted Road.

FLIGHT. Flowers (Sweet Rot) 5.00 EUR. This is the debut single from FLIGHT, who hail from Mississippi. "Flowers" is an incredibly infectious, well crafted, off-beat pop song that sounds just about perfect heading into these summer months. The flip "Johnny's Mixed Up" is equally fist pumping and will please fans of the Live Fast Die style of overblown guitar work. Expect more great things soon from Flight with a 7-inch upcoming on the Hozac Hookup Klub and a 10-inch on Kill Shaman. Black vinyl.

FLIP TOPS/YOKOHAMA HOOKS. Split 7” (Iron Goat) 5.00 EUR. Review from Terminal Boredom E-Zine: I had thought the FLIP TOPS were defunct along with the other 95% of the Rip Off roster, but here they are with some new vinyl. I didn't mind their LP so much, but they were a band I thought sat better with the listener in small doses. Their high energy garage trash was fun for a couple songs but became redundant over the course of a full length. And they prove my theory correct here, with "Sick Dirty Mind" blasting the doors right off the garage and then simmering to a mid-tempo on "Medication". Good enough that I spun the first tune a couple times before I flipped it in a pique of Rip Off nostalgia. You could do a lot worse frontman-wise than Joel Jett. He has the pipes to get a tune over by himself if need be and was certainly created of the mold that is perfect for this type of punk fuck. And I'm glad to see him doing this stuff instead of THE MINDS. YOKOHAMA HOOKS are a real surprise here. I was expecting your run-of-the-mill girl-garage, but what I got was some AU PAIRS-esque minimal post-punking. "Panic" and "James Yer Out" are both solid tunes, sharp guitar lines and driving bass/drum martial rhythm with some well done vocals from a girl with a faux-accent that matches up really well. Well worth hearing. Final verdict = well, I guess if you've heard a few FLIP TOPS tunes you've heard them all. But the YOKOHAMA HOOKS make this thing worth checking out. They have a single of their own coming up on Tic-Tac-Totally that I would buy based on this outing.

FLIP TOPS. Dangerous Game (Plastic Idols) 5.00 EUR. Portland's the FLIP-TOPS are back. If last year's split 7" with the Yokohama Hooks set the tone for their return, "Dangerous Game" ups the ante big-time. Infused with new blood and a profusion of new tunes, the Flip-Tops have streamlined the sound first heard on their "All Worked Up" LP, released on Rip Off Records in 2002, and the singles that followed. Now, the inimitable vocals of Joel Jett (the MINDS, JETPACK) and guitar roar of longtime co-conspirator Rob Felkel (the MINDS, NIX) is augmented with sparkling guitar leads, a beefy rhythm section, and a more explosive sound in general. The result here--two originals and a SIMPLETONES cover--is powerfully played pop, recorded and mixed exactly like it should be. Limited to 500 copies on light blue vinyl, with another superb sleeve design from Jonas Norway.

FLUFFY LUMBERS. Harry Dolland’s (Group Tightener) 4.50 EUR. FLUFFY LUMBERS is the project of SAMUEL FRANKLIN (BIG TROUBLES) hailing from the oddly prolific musical hub of Ridgewood, New Jersey (home to Vivian Girls, Real Estate, Titus Andronicus, Julian Lynch, etc).

FLUFFY LUMBERS. Police Cruisers EP (Weird Hug) 4.50 EUR. Debut EP from New Jersey's SAMUEL FRANKLIN (aka FLUFFY LUMBERS, member of FRAT DAD). This solo recording project is pure pop brilliance. Lots of school boy charm and teenage angst on this one. Lo-fi garage jangles and harmonies sung with a real sincerity with lines lines like "Hope you get the lead in the high school play." Synths, infectious guitar hooks, and a whole range of impressive lyrics.

FONTANA. I Feel Like A Jerk (X!) 5.00 EUR. Nice three-track EP here from Michigan's FONTANA, the first I've heard from these kids who share label-space with other recent area phenoms TYVEK, TERRIBLE TWOS and FRUSTRATIONS. "Dumb Luv" is a quite Brit-sounding aloof and near goofy punker with a very Raw Records vibe and fun-sounding whooping vocals. "(Having A) Fun Time" exhibits some thuggy guitar-rock feel with elements of classic Detroit rock energy. Two ace A-Side cuts. "You're Obscene" fills the flip side with a FRUSTRATIONS-like busy-ness, with a quiet song-within-a-song guitar interlude/workout bookended by energetic TYVEK-like DIY punkitude. A nice companion to their more "famous" stablemates.

FRANCE HAS THE BOMB/TIGER BONES. Split 7” (Shit Sandwich) 4.50 EUR. Shit Sandwich returns with a hot new 7-inch split. Side A features Chicago's own TIGER BONES (formerly known as GAY BABY) with low-budge, hazy and dazzling howls, not to be taken seriously. Side B's got FRANCE HAS THE BOMB, featuring members of SWEET JAP, WHITE+OUTS, BIRTHDAY SUITS, SOVIETTES, et al. Each band does their own twist on the lo-fi thing, from the dirgy, driving jam of Tiger Bones' "Walk Right" to the catchy, but brooding France Has the Bomb cut "Open Wound."

FRANCE HAS THE BOMB. Invisible Angle (Horizontal Action) 5.50 EUR. With all of the penetrating excitement that FRANCE HAS THE BOMB delivers live, they really boil it down even better on record, and if you haven't been privvy to seeing this Minneapolis supergroup in person, then you need to make it a priority. After their essential debut single on Dusty Medical Records earlier this Spring, HoZac jumped at the chance to offer up two more brain-tazing avant pop bombs to drop, and with Chicago ex-patriate SRINI RADHAKRISHNA (GUILTY PLEASURES, WHITE OUTS) at the songwriting helm, along with DANNY (SOVIETTES, SGT 6 ASSAULT, AWESOME SNAKES) and HIDEO (SWEET JAP, BIRTHDAY SUITS), it's a jarring Flying Nun-style pop explosion that will surprise you, to say the least.

FRANCE HAS THE BOMB. World Of Mirrors (Dusty Medical) 5.00 EUR. Begun as a recording project for Radhakrishna's catalog of solo demos, the band came together last spring when a friend and former bandmate of Radhakrishna's came through town and offered up a slot opening for his latest band, THE PONYS. Working quickly to enlist drummer Danny Henry (AWESOME SNAKES, THE SOVIETTES), guitarist Hideo Takahashi (BIRTHDAY SUITS, SWEET J.A.P.), and in-demand recording engineer/bassist Wait, the band was able to gel on the fly and hit the stage for a sold-out show at the Entry before they'd even been together a full month. What began as a onetime deal has now become a more serious venture, even if the members themselves profess few expectations. In February the group released its first record, a four-song, self-titled 7-inch on Wisconsin label Dusty Medical Records. The band has received considerable airplay on Radio K and continues to land shows opening for major touring acts, while managing to keep an active presence on the local scene. On songs like "World of Mirrors," one of their fastest and noisiest numbers, the value of each player's unique identity is absolutely integral to the composition. Radhakrishna's guitar provides the fundamental progression, while Takahashi attacks it with jagged shrieks and a wobbling sense of consonance. Wait's bass finds its own melody and rides it like a 16-year-old on a crotch rocket, while Henry not only helps create structure with his nimble shifts on the kit but adds his trademarked nasal Morse code vocals, the perfect complement to Radhakrishna's trebly shouts.

FRANCIS HAROLD & THE HOLOGRAMS. Hang The Goat (Going Underground) 5.50 EUR.  The first new recordings from Arizona's favorite smashers since the Who Said These Were Happy Times full-length. Two long overdue new blasts of FRANCIS HAROLD’s venomous power pressed to a mere 550 copies . Raw and heavy jams in the band’s trademark style.

FRESH AND ONLYS/DAN MELCHIOR. Split 7” (Volar) 5.00 EUR. These mutual fans couldn’t resist working together, which lead to this great 7-inch featuring two songs each by the respective artists. DAN MELCHIOR and THE FRESH & ONLYS.

FRESH MEAT. Leather Daddy (Fashionable Idiots) 4.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! Hailing from Allentown, Fresh Meat picks up right where their debut single left off with three more cuts of bad times and ugly music. The feedback soaked path leads straight to your brain with a pit stop to punch the clock or punch your boss.

FRONT PAGE. Monster/Kick Them! (1977 Records) 10.00 EUR. Ultra-rare Norwegian punk. First Norwegian punk new wave band! Re-issued their rare 1st 7". This record is very, very hard to find. Featured on Back To Front #1. One of the greatest punk records to come out of Europe. Extremely catchy punk / power pop. Both songs are absolute punk killers! Ltd 250 copies!

FRUSTRATIONS. Exploding Mind (Die Stasi) 5.50 EUR. Review From Terminal boredom E-Zine: More top flight musique from the exciting Michigan-based clique that includes these guys, Terrible Twos, Tyvek and the rest of the X! Records roster. I think many slept on their first seven-inch, but this one brings home a bit more bacon anyway. The title cut is an exercise in fast-to-slow dynamics, with a frantic and rubbery sort of punk rolling interspersed with some airy "breakdowns" of the mellow kind. Very pleasant. On the flip they slap down a Devo cover that initially delighted me with its staccato guitar lead but it's the xylophone (!) solo that really takes it to the next level. They end eerily with a minimal and jagged post-punker about an evil twin. And I hate to use this phrase, but it actually is a grower. Another A-grade quality offering from the Die Stasi stable, a label that really seems to know what I want. Scum stats: comes in both gold and black vinyl flavors.

THE FUCKED FRIKIS. S/T (Discos Humeantes) 5.00 EUR. Llevan años atormentando a las jovencitas del norte del país con sus incendiarios directos, éste será su primer single y pronto. Rápidos, breves y chatarreros, ¿Que más se puede pedir a un buen grupo Punk?

FUNGI GIRLS. Turquoise Hotel (Horizontal Action) 5.50 EUR. The unlimited charm of Texas strikes again as FUNGI GIRLS release their first 7-inch single this month, following up an impressive 12-inch EP debut on Play Pinball! Records last fall, both of which will have you twitching with unexpected enthusiasm. The guys that comprise this power trio are all still barely over the legal driving age, but still not even close to the drinking age, so when the surprising and wise-beyond-their-years modern psychedelic/gaze sounds first bolted from our speakers, we had to do something about it. Their first impression sits heavily on the unique and subdued vocals that seem to lightly hover over the hazy, yet complex arrangements, forming an incredibly atmospheric blast that doesn't really sound like anything else. These promising teenagers somehow harness the confidence and proclivity to emulate compelling mid-tempo lo-fi pop songs that eerily deliver hooks that stick, and come out with a sound all their own that you'll no doubt be hearing more of soon. Look for the Fungi Girls full length LP on HoZac to hit record stores later this year, and dive into their world head-first with this seductive single. 500 on black.

GAGFACTORS. We Rock You Suck (Rockin’ Bones) 5.00 EUR. They play a punk-rock-pop without frills as it was in the mid-70s (RAMONES, GEARS, etc.) ! Think of a mix PORK DUKES' punkrock and TEENAGE HEAD's pop melodies with a uncanny and unprofessional attitude...You can compare them to a mix of MARKED MEN, FEVERS and VIKINGS (Turbonegro+Devil dogs+Yum yums) ! Two tracks on one side with a cover of the RECORDS' hit Starry eyes! The 7" was mixed by Alicja Trout (Lost sounds, Contaminated records and co.)!

GAGGERS. You Ain't No Fun (Pure Punk/No Front Teeth) 5.00 EUR. Second buring hot slab from these snotty London brats!! Their first 7" sold out in less than 2 months... These three new cuts on here present the Gaggers in true energetic and convulsive style! You can smell the puke coming through the speakers... Snotty and raw 70's Punk Rock that blends the early UK/US style of the Pagans, Sex Pistols, Dead Boys, Jabbers, etc... featuring members of Disco Lepers, Botox Rats, The Hateful and the Blowouts. Nasty stuff! Two fingers down your throat Punk Rock! Limited to 300 copies - 100 comes with different sleeve.

GAGGERS. Fix Me Up (Rapid Pulse/No Front Teeth) 4.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! This is the debut 7” from London’s Gaggers. Snotty and raw punk rock that blends the early US/UK styles of the Pagans, Sex Pistols, Dead Boys and the Jabbers featuring members of the Disco Lepers, The Hateful, Botox Rats and the Blowouts. This is punk as punk should be – raw and stripped-down, this is two-fingers-down-your-throat punk rock and it’s hocking up some wonderfully gross shit.

GAMES. Don’t Look For Her (Rob’s House) 5.00 EUR. GAMES are made up of ex members of BUSY SIGNALS and GENTLEMEN JESSE, but to call them a powerpop band would be missing the point. These guys are mining sounds that predate that stuff by a good 5-10 years. Yea, its the kinda stuff that would later influence 'powerpop' (Greg Shaw recognized this early on when he reissued Rockin' Horse on his Voxx label) but there are no skinny ties and Rickenbackers. Instead, Games are tackling maturer themes with a slightly darker approach to pop. You'll also notice a few glam undertones as Games' seem to be genuinely interested in exploring all 'pop' can offer rather than repackaging / remarketing any one style. Rob's House is pleased to release Games' debut single.

GAPE ATTACK. Burn This City (FDH Records) 5.50 EUR. GAPE ATTACK bring us their moody dark synth sound on this debut record. Using only keyboards, drum machine, and bass, the Seattle trio's first single could be mistaken for some long lost, cold wave gem. A must have for fans of Blank Dogs and Cold Cave. Limited to 300 copies.

GASOLINE. Killer Man (FanClub) 6.00 EUR. Fanclub pressing of this French KBD gem from 1977. Classic French punk!!! One of the best vinyl released in 1977. The sleeve is just fantastic. And just as the sleeve promise the two songs that these frog eaters delivers are fantastic too. If I have to choose one of these killer tracks I’ll go with “Radio Flic” so that’s what you’re getting here. Now go eat snails and buy some French Fries OPS! I meant Freedom Fries.

GARY WAR. Reality Protest (Sacred Bones) 5.00 EUR. This is the newest single from GARY WAR which was originally pressed up in Italy as a split release by Holiday Records and Sacred Bones to be sold on the band's European tour. "Reality Protest"—a swirling ball of spring reverb and psychedelia that builds to a driving pulse—is the lead off track backed by "Hollow Failures," a dark and moody keyboard laden song similar to the material on the Horribles Parade LP. For those who failed to make it to the continent to catch the band on the road Sacred Bones is making this limited edition tour single available stateside and beyond.

GAYE BLADES. I’d Brave Anything For You (Die Slaughterhaus/Rob’s House) 5.00 EUR. Review From Terminal boredom E-Zine: OK, I'll say it, this single is the Brokeback Mountain of underground garage punk. A tale of unrequited love from the minds and loins of Jared Swilley (BLACK LIPS) and the inimitable Bobby Ubangi (THE LIDS), four songs deep and quite honestly a very fine and amusing little project that could have very easily gone wrong. "Whore Hunt" is a rock'n'roll ditty deserving of such a fine title. "Treat Me Like A Man" is drunkenly goofy garage in a style reminiscent of "Dirty Hands". "Pulling Out" recalls the high energy and high quality of THE LIDS finer moments without the gals in tow. And the tile cut is every bit a classy number. The best thing about this for me is seeing Ubangi back in action as I think the guy has a lot more to give us after the dissolution of his previous outfit. And honestly, this thing is pretty gay, but not as totally gay as you might think. I give it four erections out of five. A second single is on the way as well. Scum stats: a split release between DSH and Rob's House, with each label's half of the pressing (of 1000 I beleive) containing a different love note: one from Bobby to Jared and the other Jared's letter to Bobby.

GENTLEMAN JESSE & HIS MEN. You’ve Got The Wrong Man (Hozac) 5.00 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! Atlanta's favorite son, GENTLEMAN JESSE SMITH is back in a big way after he turned the modern pop world upside down with 2008's debut single and LP that immediately raised the bar for contemporary power pop recordings. We've been waiting for this release since 2007 and it's finally here. This year has seen Gentleman Jesse & His Men touring like crazy with a new single on Douchemaster along with this one right here, ushering in the second wind we've all been waiting for from this much-adored pop pioneer. This songwriting well isn't even close to running dry, and if the two tracks contained on this new single are any indication of the follow-up LP's magnitude, it may just be time to roll over and declare Jesse the modern 'King of Pop,' as we all know Michael fucking Jackson sure isn't holding onto it anymore. First press of 500 black editions.

GERIATRIX. Swithblade (Tom Perkins) 5.00 EUR. Features 3 songs, 2 originals and a cover of the RAMDOMS. Switchblade is by far one of their best song songs. This was the bands final release, watch for a new band formed out of this one called THE GAZELLS.

GERMAN MEASLES. Color Vibrations (Wild World) 5.00 EUR. The latest in out of control, drugged up, fucked up madness from Brooklyn's premiere party freaks comprised of one-half of CAUSE CO-MOTION! Features the tracks “Color Vibration” and “I Don’t Like Your Friends.” Released on the Vivian Girls’ Wild World imprint.

GET OFFS. Airplane Fight (Self Released) 5.50 EUR. BACK IN STOCK!! Bay Area rock mascots the GET OFFS present an urgent and simple slab of garage rock action.

GG KING. Party Pack (Red Lounge) 5.00 EUR. Classic single with two songs, “Day turns into night” is a final CARBONAS song that never got recorded/released. “Drug induced state” is a RALPHS cover, with an organ that will give Digital Leather a run for their money! Very excited about this one…we are excited about all our releases, rest asure but…. Greg used to off course sing for the almighty Carbonas, who are for one reason or another absent without leave!

GG KING. Babbling Voices (Local Cross) 5.00 EUR. 3rd EP from the Carbonas mastermind, and this time you get more of the great songwriting that GG King has been known for... a little less fast and energetic than my favorite Carbonas material, the slower tempo allows the great melodies on these songs to sink in even more. Killer!

GIRLS. Remote View (Hozac) 5.00 EUR. THE GIRLS have been notorious for their impressive new wavish pop zeal ever since they first embarked out into the unforgiving world via their Dirtnap debut in 2004, only this time, their subdued dormancy has culminated with a much darker sound that most of their original progenitors might not even recognize. While the band has retained their core competency of twisted pop architecture as it's guiding light, these two new tracks recorded by The Intelligence's LARS FINBERG show a far more robotic side to their sound. Now sounding less like The Cars and more toward the Tubeway Army/The Gas/Valves angle they've comfortably grown into, which fits like a fingerless glove. Dig into these two space-age pop gems, both neurotically bursting with scuzz-laden, mind-numbing hooks that sink in deep and stick like cheap gum in granny's dentures. First press of 500 black editions.

GLUTAMATO YE-YE. Corazón Loco (Munster) 5.00 EUR. Pop excéntrico y punk van de la mano cuando se trata de una de las bandas más irreverentes de la Movida. Cara A 1. CORAZON LOCO 2. HOLOCAUSTO CANIBAL Cara B 1. HAY UN HOMBRE EN MI NEVERA 2. NARCOSIS.

GOBIERNO MILITAR. S/T (Discos Enfermos/Crust As Fuck) 4.00 EUR. Edicion 525 copias.

GOLDEN TRIANGLE. Prize Fighter, Red Coat (Rob’s House) 5.50 EUR. GOLDEN TRIANGLE are a raucous, female-fronted Brooklyn garage-punk act with a bratty attitude and stylish costumes that resemble some kind of performance art cabaret band. Their hypnotic drumming, vocal chants and lo-fi guitars are just notes from chaos but always exactly where they need to be.

GOVERNMENT ISSUE. Make An Effort (Doctor Strange) 5.00 EUR. One of the most essential and perfect hardcore punk 7″s of all time just got yet another reissue. I am talking about Government Issue - Make an Effort. This four song piece of perfection has been reissued perhaps more times and on more labels than any old punk record I can think of (I think Zero Boys - Vicious Circle is coming up a close second).
Make an Effort was G.I.’s second EP and in my eyes really took them to the next level and established them as a truly great punk rock band, a title they held in my opinion for many years to follow. They were really one of the most under-rated punk bands of all time and deserve far more recognition than they received.
This time around, Doctor Strange Records is the one doing the reissue honors. One thing that makes this reissue slighty different than all the others is for time in its post-first press history, it is using the artwork and layout from the original pressing, which was lovingly re-created by yours truly!

GOVERNMENT WARNING. Arrested (Grave Mistake) 5.00 EUR. Brand new E.P. from Richmond, VA's GOVERNMENT WARNING. "Arrested" picks up right where 2006's NO MODERATION left off, blazing through four new tracks of their brand of unadulterated hardcore punk rock (think GANG GREEN, RKL, and ADOLESCENTS thrown in a blender)... one catchy as hell title track followed by three more fast and ferocious cuts guaranteed to leave you floored. This EP has it all; hooks, speed, attitude, piss, vinegar ... definintely will not disappoint.

GRAVE BLANKETS. Our Love Is Real (Horizontal Action) 5.50 EUR. Emerging out of the spectacular modern musical hotbed of Columbus, Ohio, Grave Blankets are one of those bands that write colossal hooks into their songs that stick to your ribs upon first listen and furiously embed themselves into your evoked set of perilous preferences. Stripped of any gloss or NME hype, Grave Blankets offer a true picture of how disgustingly pure rock'n roll is done, as they careen and writhe under your skin and somehow walk away with one of the most memorable hits of the year, in a year already full of stellar releases.

GREG CARTWRIGHT & THE YOUNG SENIORS. Moola Man (Ghost Highway Recordings) 7.00 EUR.

GUT REACTIONS. Bored (Bachelor) 5.00 EUR. Still sad because THE FEELERS stopped playing about two years ago? Well, here’s a serious contender, the GUT REACTIONS from Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This three songs will hit you like a derailed steam loco, so damaged and spectacular, straight but still out of control. Just like THE MISTREATERS. Watch out for more releases of this band later this year, but first, get yourself this firecracker of a 45! This makes you slash your teachers tire’s AND dance stupid at the same time!
